AEW Dynamite February 1, 2023, Preview & Match Card
AEW Dynamite episode of February 1, 2023, will feature a No Holds Barred match for AEW TNT title between Darby Allin & Samoa Joe and will continue the buildup to AEW Revolution 2023.
Jade Cargill will put her TBS title on the line against Red Velvet in her 50th match. Bryan Danielson takes on Timothy Thatcher on his road to becoming the #1 contender. Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley clash in their trilogy bout, whereas the Acclaimed will be in tag-team action along with Konosuke Takeshita vs Brian Cage singles match. Darby Allin vs Samoa Joe – No Holds Barred
Last week, Darby Allin successfully defended his AEW TNT title for the fourth time by defeating Buddy Matthews. After the match, Samoa Joe appeared on screen and told Darby that he made the biggest mistake of his life by taking that title away from him. He then challenged Darby for a No Holds Barred match for the title. Will Darby Allin be able to get past Samoa Joe once again?
Jade Cargill’s 50th Match
Last week, Jade Cargill was getting interviewed backstage when she was once again interrupted by Red Velvet. Velvet has a history with Jade Cargill being a former Baddies while also being her first opponent in AEW. She challenged Cargill to face her in her 50th AEW match and put her TBS Women’s title on the line. Cargill promptly accepted the match as she wishes to prove to Velvet and Hogan that they are nothing without her.
Hangman vs Moxley 3
Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley have been involved in a feud for quite a while now. Page got a concussion in his first match against Moxley but was able to knock down Moxley in the rematch. Last week, he was interviewed by Moxley’s wife Renee where he stated that he would love to defeat Moxley in his hometown of Ohio. Will Hangman complete his mission?
Bryan Danielson vs Timothy Thatcher
Bryan Danielson is just a few wins away from becoming the #1 contender for the AEW World title. Bryan is renowned as one of the best technical wrestlers in the world, and this Wednesday, he will face another wrestler with a great techinal prowess in Timothy Thatcher who is also far more dangerous. Will Bryan Danielson be able to secure another win especially with his injured shoulder?
Konouke Takeshita vs Brian Cage
Last week, Brian Cage attacked Bryan Danielson after he lost the match against him. MJF and Cage planned to brutalize Bryan before he was eventually saved by Konosuke Takeshita. As a result, it was revealed that Konosuke Takeshita would face Brian Cage in a singles match this Wednesday.
Acclaimed in Action
AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed will be in action this week. While their opponents are not known at this point in time, this match is surely going to be prelude for their eventual title match against The Gunn Club.
