AEW has confirmed 4 matches for AEW Dynamite episode of February 1, 2023, including TNT Championship rematch.

Darby Allin made his 4th defense of AEW TNT title of this month against Buddy Mathews. After he defeated Mathews, Samoa Joe interrupted him from the big screen and claimed that he is still the real king of television. Joe then challenged Darby for a No Holds Barred match next week on Dynamite for TNT Champion.

Darby defeated Joe itself on January 4 episode of Dynamite to win TNT Championship. Joe still holds ROH World Television Championship.

Another rematch that is set for next week is between Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley. Page got interviewed once again this week and told Renee Paquette that he would love to knock Moxley down once again in his hometown of Ohio.

Wheeler Yuta confronted Page on challenging someone who is still not clear. Yuta then challenged Page to face him on Rampage this week.(Spoilers available here).

Timothy Thatcher will make his AEW debut as MJF has brought him in as the next challenge for Bryan Danielson on his way of becoming the #1 contender for AEW World Championship. Danielson defeated Brian Cage this week on Dynamite and was attacked post-match attack from Cage and AEW World Champion MJF.

Bryan suffered an injury to his shoulder before being saved by Konosuke Takeshita. MJF later revealed that Thatcher, who loves to hurt people, has decided to answer to an open challenge from Bryan.

Additionally, AEW has also announced that AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed will also be in action. February 1, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite will air from Wright State University in Dayton, OH.
