AEW Revolution 2023: MJF & Danielson Agree to Ironman Match

Conditions are set for the Iron man match for AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution 2023 PPV between MJF and Bryan Danielson.

All Elite Wrestling viewers would already be aware of how Bryan Danielson is going after MJF and his World Championship ever since he betrayed William Regal and sent him out of AEW. That episode came shortly after Regal helped MJF to beat Jon Moxley to win AEW World title at AEW Full Gear 2022 PPV.

This week on Dynamite, Danielson faced Tony Nese as he returned to in-ring action. After that match, MJF came out to respond to Danielson’s challenge. MJF said AEW World title shot will not be handed out to anyone and Danielson will need to earn it.

MJF then revealed that he has talked to Tony Khan about it and Danielson will have to become the #1 contender for the title. In order to do so, Danielson will have to fight on every Dynamite episode until February 8 and win each of the matches.

Bryan agreed to fulfill this condition but said he need the right to pick the stipulation for their match at AEW Revolution. Bryan then revealed that their match at Revolution will be a one-hour Iron Man match. MJF initially refused but agreed to the stipulation after being booed by the crowd.

Bryan will now face Konosuke Takeshita next week on Dynamite as per the condition. He is also scheduled for AEW Rampage this Friday as he teams up with Jon Moxley against Top Flight.
