Welcome to the live blog for AEW Dynamite episode of November 17, 2021, airing from Chartway Arena, Norfolk, VA. This episode will be the fallout episode from AEW Full Gear 2021 PPV.
A loaded card is announced with 5 matches. TNT Championship will be on the line as Sammy Guevara defends the title against AEW newcomer Jay Lethal. Bryan Danielson will take on Evil Uno and TBS Women’s Championship Quarterfinal round will start with Nyla Rose vs Hikaru Shida match.
Orange Cassidy will team up with new NEVER Openweight Champion Tomohiro Ishii to take on The Butcher and the Blade. Lio Rush will return on Dynamite and he will team up with Dante Martin again to face The Acclaimed. Also, expect AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page to address the fans as he returns home.

Results
- Bryan Danielson defeated Evil Uno in a singles match via submission.
- Orange Cassidy & Tomohiro Ishii defeated The Butcher & The Blade in a tag team match via pinfall.
- Nyla Rose defeated Hikaru Shida in TBS Women’s Championship Tournament Quaterfinal via submission.
- Lio Rush & Dante Martin defeated The Acclaimed(Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) in a tag team match via pinfall.
- Sammy Guevara(c) defeated Jay Lethal via pinfall to retain AEW TNT Championship.
Live Updates
Cowboy’s Day
Kenny Omega is backstage with Adam Cole and the Young Bucks. He says he needs to recuperate after that loss and wants Elite to hold the fort down. Cole says he has got it. Kenny says he was saying that to Young Bucks. Matt and Nick play down Omega’s snub before they all leave.
Dark Order is in the ring and they bring out Adam Page. Page takes the mic and says that being the AEW World Champion is a lot of responsibility and the next responsibility on that is Bryan Danielson. Bryan comes out to ringside and takes the mic. He enters the ring. He congratulates Page on the title win. He is excited for his title match, but he is surprised to see Omega not standing there with the belt. Page replies that its because he beat Omega and he did it in less than 30 minutes.
Bryan says he wrestled the very next day after he won World title at WrestleMania. Page replies that he is ready to go. Bryan says generally he is down for it, but Page is not ready and he does not want him to have excuses for losing the titles. Page gets in his face before Dark Order separates them. Bryan taunts Page and he attacks Bryan before Dark Order control him again.
Bryan Danielson vs Evil Uno
Bryan puts on the single leg boston crab. Uno gets to the ropes. They start again and Uno drops Bryan with an inverted atomic drop and a dropkick. Bryan pushes him down and hits kicks and chops to the chest. Bryan hits a snap suplex. Uno hits chops but Byran no-sells them. Bryan kicks at Uno’s back in the corner. Uno is selling his back injury before he gets up and start unloading on Bryan.
Uno hits hurricanrana and then a neckbreaker. Bryan hits him slaps and then hits running knees in the corner. Uno hits a big boot to bring him down before Bryan gets his knees up on the senton. Byran hits running knee but does not go for the pin. He goes to stomp Uno’s face and puts on the triangle sleeper to get the win.
Winner – Bryan Danielson
Tony Schiavone is in the ring to interview Bryan. Bryan says he has sent a message with this win. He says AEW will be in Chicago next week and he challenges Chicago native Colt Cabana for a match next week.
Eddie Kingston is backstage with Tony Schiavone. 2Point0 and Daniel Garcia roll up and taunt him. Eddie gets in Daniel Garcia’s face and pushes him back. The crew stop them before they get physical.
The Butcher & The Blade vs Orange Cassidy & Tomohiro Ishii
Ishii starts against Blade. Blade nails him with forearms strikes but Ishii no-sells him. Ishii drops Blade with a shoulder tackle. He then shoes Cassidy how to do it. Cassidy hits a diving splash. Blade sends him into the corner. OC gets his hands in the pocket and hits a dropkick. Butcher tags in drops OC from behind. He also drops Ishii from the apron as we cut to a break.
OC fights back as we return and leapfrogs to tag in Ishii. Ishii drops Blade with a flurry of attack. He hits chops in the corner and then hits a backdrop suplex. Butcher tags in and starts unloading in the corner. Ishii no-sells Butcher’s strikes and backs him to the corner. Blade and OC come in. OC hits stundog millionaire and dropkick.
Matt Hardy tries to run an interference but OC takes him and Butcher out with a crossbody. Ishii hits brainbuster on the Blade to get the pin.

Nyla Rose vs Hikaru Shida – TBS Women’s Championship Tournament Quaterfinal
Shida unloads in the corner. She hits a dropkick to the knee. Rose goes for a backdrop but Shida counters it to hits a running knee to the face. Rose hits a suplex before Shida forces her to roll to the floor. Shida follows her and Rose catches her with an attack as she gets back to the ring.
Rose hits a big kick to the back. She works on Shida’s knees. Shida’s knee is slammed into the turnbuckle. Shida reverses a whip on the floor. Nyla rocks her with a shot to the back of the head. Rose goes for a senton on the chair but Shida gets out of the way. Vickie Guerrero tries to attack Shida with a kendo stick, but Shida catches the stick and hits back at Vickie. Rose takes advantage of the distraction to take control.
Rose works on Shida’s knees after the break. Shida fights back but Serena Deeb takes out her knee on the apron. Rose hits a senton on her knees next. Rose puts on the stretch muffler submission to get a quick submission from Shida.

Lio Rush & Dante Martin vs The Acclaimed(Anthony Bowens & Max Caster)
Rush and Martin start with some double team action against Bowens. Dante hits a diving knee on the elbow. Bowens fires back with chops. Caster joins Bowens on the floor to hit a double suplex on Martin. Caster keeps control against Martin in the ring now. Quick tags between the Acclaimed to keep Martin under control as we cut to the break.
Martin fights back and tags in his partner. Rush with a rapid fire combination and then a kick to the back of the head to get a near fall. Bowens comes back and pushes at Rush’s throat. Martin also comes in to start a back and forth sequence between four men in the match. Martin drops Bowens with a dropkick.
Tag to Caster and the Acclaimed drops Rush with multiple moves in quick succession. Martin saves Rush from the pin. Martin hits a moonsault and Rush finishes off with a splash to get the pin.

Sammy Guevara(c) vs Jay Lethal – AEW TNT Championship Match
They start with a few pin attempts. Lethal hits a hip toss and a dropkick. He hits a backbreaker. Gueverra counters and hits a big knee to the face. A suicide dive from Sammy on the floor. He goes to the top but Lethal gets his knees up on the shooting star press as cut to a break.
Sammy was checked by the medical team during the break. He returns to the ring as the break ends. Lethal unloads on him viciously. Sammy hits him with Spanish fly to get a breather. Lethal comes into the ring and sends him to the floor. Sammy hits a brainbuster on the floor. Gueverra misses a Lethal on the table. Lethal takes him back to the ring. Sammy counters an elbow drop into a pin attempt.
More back and forth action between them before Lethal puts on figure four. Sammy drags himself to the ropes to break. Sammy hits a knee to the face but fails to get Lethal on his shoulders. Sammy hits a pump knee to the face and then hits GTS for the pin.
