WWE Network Moving To Peacock Streaming, Price Halved

WWE Network will be migrating to NBCUniversal’s Peacock Streaming service in the United States from March 2021.

WWE has signed a multi-year agreement which will see Peacock streaming all the content available on WWE Network in America, Variety is reporting. The 1.1 million subscribers in US will have to migrate to Peacock Premium, which will cost only $4.99 instead of $9.99.

The Premium plan of Peacock will include ads though. For an ad free experience, users can avail to the Premium Plus plan for $9.99. The streaming service will air all WWE PPVs for no additional charge. Fastlane 2021, on 21 March, will be the first WWE PPV to stream live on Peacock.

Peacock will launch WWE Network three days earlier on 18 March 2021. All of the current content on WWE Network, upcoming programming and acquired and original library programming is said to be available. A new 24-hour channel is also announced.

The exact details around how users will be migrated from one service to another are not clear yet. The companies plans to share details of how existing WWE Network subscribers will be switched to Peacock in the next few weeks.

The change is coming only for the users in the United States. Users in other countries will be able to access WWE Network just like the current setup.
