SmackDown Preview- 7 May 2019: New Tag Team Champions?

This is the preview for SmackDown episode of 7 May 2019. The show will be live from US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Shane McMahon will crown new SmackDown Tag Team Champions

Shane McMahon SmackDown Tag Team Champion 7 May 2019

With Jeff Hardy getting sidelined, the Hardy Boyz had to drop the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. This week, Shane McMahon is advertised to announce ‘new’ Champions. By the way, he is going currently, I will not be surprised if he would crown himself the champion saying that he never lost it in the first place(It was Miz who got pinned when they lost the titles). It is also a possibility that a heel team will be just given the titles. But a tournament for crowning the champion is more realistic.

Kevin Owens to respond to Kofi Kingston’s attack from last week

Kevin Owens got a hammering from Kofi Kingston last week at SmackDown after he mocked the New Day with their action figures. This week KO will respond to that attack(last week Kofi responded to KO’s attack from two weeks ago). For how long this responding thing go on?

Ali and Andrade to square off this Tuesday night

Andrade vs Ali SmackDown 7 May 2019

In last few months, Andrade and Ali have crossed their paths in tag team matches and only once have they gone head to head in a singles match. With both wrestlers being completely capable, the match is sure to be a hit. Again, these two do not have any sort of rivalry going on and it is just another filler match.

Massive Six-Woman Tag Team Match to go down on the blue brand

Next thing that is advertised is another useless tag team match between 3 faces and 3 heels. Bayley, Carmella and Ember Moon will team up to face Charlotte Flair, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose in a six women tag team match. Again, the point of this match is not clear. There are three MITB match participants while one is on the other team. Carmella and Moon, who were arguing last week, are in the same team.
