Valter Ignacio Walker Set for UFC Debut at Vegas 79 vs Jake Collier
A new heavyweight bout is added to the match card of the UFC Vegas 79 Fight Night event with Valter Ignacio Walker making his UFC debut.
MMA Reported Laerte Viana first reported the news that Valter Ignacio Walker, younger brother of UFC Fighter Johnny Walker, will face Jake Collier at UFC Vegas 79 on September 23, 2023.
Valter Ignacio Walker, nicknamed The Clean Monster, has not lost a single match in his professional career so far. His recent bout was against Alex Nicholson at Titan FC 82, where he won the match by KO decision. His current record stands at 11-0.

Valter announced his UFC signing last week via an Instagram post.
Jake Collier has been on a challenging streak, with three consecutive losses in his recent fights. His recent bout was against Martin Buday at UFC Vegas 72 in April this year, where he lost via unanimous decision method.
Collier last win came at the start of 2022 when he defeated Chase Sherman. He lost the next 2 bouts in 2022 against Andrei Arlovski and Chris Barnett.
UFC Vegas 79 is set for September 23 at UFC Apex Arena in Las Vegas, NV. This is the first match to be reported for this show.
