The UFC is set to make history by hosting its inaugural event in Saudi Arabia on March 2, 2024.

The event is scheduled to be a fight night and will coincide with Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season festival. Dana White is expected to reveal the fighters participating in the event in the upcoming months.

The event is being organized in collaboration with the Saudi General Entertainment Authority. This announcement follows the recent merger of the UFC with WWE, resulting in the creation of the new publicly traded TKO company under Endeavor.

WWE has been hosting events in Saudi Arabia since 2014 and has a highly profitable agreement with the country, which includes hosting two significant WWE events annually in the Kingdom.

WWE is gearing up for its Crown Jewel event, slated to take place on November 4, 2023, which will be live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia has been actively involved in the world of boxing, hosting large-scale events in the country. One of the upcoming events is the highly anticipated match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou, scheduled for October 28.

Interestingly, SRJ Sports Investments, fund from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, brought a minority stake in PFL for $100 million last month. PFL is planning to launch PFL Middle East league as part of the investments.
