UFC 298 Takes Place on February 17, 2024, Main Event Confirmed
The date and main event of the UFC 298 event have been revealed.
UFC AUSNZ has made an official announcement that UFC 298 is scheduled for February 17, 2024. The poster shows February 18 as the date will change in Australia by the time the event starts.
There was confusion due to the poster that the event might take place in Australia. However, a location has not been confirmed for UFC 298 so far.

The featherweight championship bout between Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria was already announced for the show. It is now confirmed as the main event.
Alexander Volkanovski will be defending this title for the sixth time. His most recent defense occurred at UFC 290 event, where he secured a victory against Yair Rodriguez. His most recent bout though was for lightweight title against Islam Makhachev where he lost via second-round knockout.
Ilja Topuria will put his unbeaten streak in MMA on the line in this bout.
