A new welterweight bout is reported for UFC 296 PPV event where Randy Brown will face Muslim Salikhov.

According to the report from Full Violence Twitter Account, Brown and Salikhov are set to clash in a welterweight bout at the UFC’s December 16 event. Brown has also confirmed this fight on his Discord channel.

Randy Brown’s most recent fight took place at UFC on ABC 5, where he secured a victory by unanimous decision against Wellington Turman. However, before facing Turman, Brown had a grappling match at Rise Invitational 11, where he suffered a loss by submission to Renê Sousa.

Muslim Salikhov’s most recent fight occurred at UFC Vegas 75, where he faced Nicolas Dalby and was defeated. Prior to that, Salikhov secured a victory over Andre Fialho. As of now, Salikhov’s UFC record stands at 6 wins, 3 losses, and 0 draws.

UFC 296 event is scheduled for December 16, 2023, and will be broadcast live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. A women’s flyweight bout is also set for the event, where Casey O’Neill will face Ariane Lipski.
