ONE Championship was back with ONE Friday Fights 29 event on August 18, 2023, with a catchweight muay thai bout in the headliner from its usual location of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Seksan Or Kwanmuang took on Isaac Araya in the main event bout who were both Muay Thai World Champions in other promotions. Kwanmuang was looking for this fifth straight win in ONE. He was last in action to beat Nathan Bendon at Friday Fights 22. Araya was making his ONE debut.
Duangsompong Jitmuangnon faced Paidang Kiatsongrit in the co-main event. Pongsiri PK Saenchai(2 time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion), kickboxing prodigy Elbrus Osmanov and former title challenger Agilan Thani were some of the other names on the undercard.
