Muin Gafurov Out of UFC Paris 2023 Event Due to Visa Issues
Muin Gafurov will not be competing in his scheduled bout against Taylor Lapilus, which was planned for September 2 at UFC Paris event.
According to La Sueur Podcast, Muin Gaferov has encountered visa problems that have led to his withdrawal from the fight. Gafurov and Lapilus were booked in a Bantamweight bout.

Due to the withdrawal of Muin Gafurov from the fight, it is currently unclear whether Taylor Lapilus will withdraw from the card or if he will get another opponent for the fight.
Muin Gafurov entered the UFC earlier this year in June, marking his debut in the organization. Unfortunately, he faced defeat in his first fight at the UFC Vegas 74 against John Castaneda by unanimous decision.
The bout was supposed to mark Taylor Lapilus’ UFC return. had a brief run in the UFC between 2015 and 2016, participating in four matches and emerging victorious in three of them. He suffered his only UFC loss against Erik Perez.
Presently, Lapilus is on a five-fight winning streak with appearances under Ares FC and TKO promotions, with his latest victory being a first-round TKO triumph over Demarte Pena.
UFC Paris event is scheduled for September 2, 2023, at Accor Arena in Paris, France, featuring a heavyweight bout between Ciryl Gane and Serghei Spivac.
