Jhonata Diniz UFC Debut Set vs Austen Lane on UFC April 27
Heavyweight Jhonata Diniz will face Austen Lane in his UFC debut bout on April 27, 2024.
Diniz’s management company All Sports Management made the announcement for the fight on their Instagram account. The event on April 27 is yet to be announced by UFC.
A location is also not reported for the event yet. But the announcement post mentioned Las Vegas being the location, which would mean that the event might take place at UFC Apex Arena itself.
Brazil’s Jhonata Diniz is a former kickboxer and Muay Thai fighter who turned into MMA fighter. He has a total of 6 fights in MMA and has remained unbeaten in the sport so far. His latest outing against Eduardo Neves in Dana White Contender Series 2023 season via first round knockout, which also earned him his UFC contract.
Austen Lane is also Dana White Contender Series graduate from 2022 season. His only UFC bout so far saw him lose to Justin Tafa at UFC 293 PPV.
UFC 27 April Fight Night event has 3 more fights reported so far. Anshul Jubli will fight Maheshate Hayisaer in a lightweight bout. James Llontop will fight Lando Vannata while ranked fighters Karine Silva and Ariane Lipski will also clash.
