Highlights of Francis Ngannou’s Deal with PFL
The key details of Francis Ngannou’s deal with PFL have been revealed.
Earlier it was reported that Francis Ngannou has inked a deal with PFL where he also received leadership and equity roles. Now Francis Ngannou himself revealed more details when he appeared to chat with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour.
The former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou assured that he has secured a guaranteed purse for himself whereas his opponent will also receive a minimum base salary of $2 Million.
Along with this, Francis will also get a share of the PPV bonuses and gates. Not only these, but this new contract will also allow Francis Ngannous to appear in the boxing ring.
Francis Ngannou will get a place in the advisory board of PFL to represent the interest of the fighters whereas he will be the new president of PFL Africa.
This is undoubtedly the most lucrative deal in the history of MMA. Dana White also stated that the salary he offered to Ngannou would make him the highest-paid heavyweight of all time. However, the money was not enough for Ngannou and he wanted more perks with his deal.
The former UFC heavyweight champion will likely make his PFL debut in early 2024 whereas a boxing match is expected to take place later this year.
