Dana White confirmed what Jon Jones has been teasing on social media.

UFC President Dana White confirmed that UFC would certainly like Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic to take place at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

The current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has recently posted a tweet where he stated that he would like to dominate the greatest heavyweight of all time in his retirement fight in his home state of New York.

White stated during a post-UFC Kansas City press conference that everything is good and the promotion would like to have a fight between Jones & Miocic very soon. On asking about the tweet, Dana White stated that “That’s where we’d like to do it.”

Jon Jones recently returned from retirement and defeated Cirly Gane via first-round submission to win the vacant UFC heavyweight championship at UFC 285. Right after the match, he called out Stipe Miocic and revealed him as his next challenger

UFC usually returns to Madison Square Garden every year in November. It will likely be the same this year as the promotion is set to host UFC 295 at MSG.
