CJ Vergara vs Vinicius Salvador is Reportedly Scheduled for UFC 291
A new flyweight bout is reportedly scheduled for the UFC 291 PPV event.
According to the latest reports, CJ Vergara will collide against Vinicius Salvador in a flyweight bout at UFC 291 on July 29, 2023. Marcel Dorff of EuroSports reported this matchup by sharing a tweet.
CJ Vergara is 2-2 in UFC so far. He started his UFC career with a loss against Ode Osbourne but then he rebounded by defeating Kleydson Rodrigues at UFC 274. However, then he lost against Tatsuro Taira before defeating Daniel Da Silva via second-round TKO in his most recent fight.
On the other hand, Vinicius Salvador finds his way to UFC via Dana White Contender Series. However, he failed to make an impact in his UFC debut as he lost the inaugural match against Victor Altamirano earlier this year in March.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Vinicius Salvador be able to get his first UFC win at UFC 291 or will CJ Vergara finally start a winning streak.
