The rematch between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence is said to be in the planning stages for an event in February 2024.

According to the report from Mike Coppinger, the highly anticipated rematch between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence is reportedly in the planning stages for February. However, it’s been noted that there is still no agreement regarding the weight class for the bout.

With weight not decided still, it is undetermined at this point whether Crawford vs Spence II will have the undisputed welterweight title on the line or not.

The duo recently squared off in the fight for all 4 major belts, WBO, WBC, IBF, and WBA, in the welterweight division on July 29, 2023, where Crawford secured a knockout victory over Spence in ninth round.

The event was a success both in terms of gate and PPV as it garnered $21 million in tickets, and sold around 500,000 PPVs.

With his victory, Terence Crawford has now become the undisputed champion in the second division. He was also the undisputed champion in the super lightweight division before he moved up.

Terence Crawford boasts an impeccable undefeated record in his professional boxing career with 40 wins and no losses. Prior to his victory over Errol Spence, he defeated David Avanesyan for WBO World Welterweight Title.

Errol Spence’s defeat against Terence Crawford marked the end of his impressive 28-fight undefeated streak. Prior to the loss to Crawford, Spence successfully defended his WBC & IBF title against Yordenis Ugas, while also winning WBA title from Ugas.
