Filip Hrgovic vs Demsey McKean Targeted for Joshua-Whyte Undercard
Filip Hrgovic vs Demsey McKean is being targeted for the Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte II undercard in London.
Eddie Hearn revealed to IFL TV that IBF #1 ranked heavyweight Filip Hrgovic would likely return to face Demsey McKean at the Joshua-Whyte undercard on August 12.
Eddie Hearn also wants Filip Hrgovic to face Oleksandr Usyk at the Saudi show because Tyson Fury is going in a different direction and won’t be a part of that show.
Eddie Hearn has stated that Filip Hrgovic vs Demsey McKean could take place on the undercard of the Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte rematch on Aug 12th. He added that Felix Cash vs Ammo Williams will "almost certainly" be on the show. [@IFLTV]

Filip Hrgovic is undefeated so far in his 15 fights so far. He was coming off a unanimous decision win against Zhilei Zhang in August 2022. Hrgovic was supposed to face Andy Ruiz for the interim IBF Heavyweight Championship earlier this year, but the fight got canceled even before its purse bid hearing.
On the other hand, Dempsey McKean is also undefeated and beat Patric Korte via a third-round TKO to win the IBF Intercontinental Heavyweight Title. He was once in line to face Anthony Joshua in April this year before that bout went to Jermaine Franklin.
If Hrgovic vs McKean materializes at the Joshua-Whyte undercard, then Hrgovic would step inside the ring after a gap of one year. So, which one of them will continue their undefeated run?
