Devin Haney vs Regis Prograis Reportedly Set for Dec 9

Devin Haney vs Regis Prograis

The WBC Super Lightweight showdown is set for later this year in December.

According to the latest reports, Devin Haney would defend his WBC Super Lightweight Title against Regis Progrias on December 9, 2023, in San Francisco, California.

Mike Coppinger of ESPN was the first one to break this news. The fight is also expected to headline a DAZN PPV. The fight will be made official this week via a press release.

Devin Haney is currently one of the best lightweights in the world. He is also the Unified Lightweight Champion. Haney is still undefeated and he is coming off a unanimous decision win against Vasiliy Lomachenko. Before that, he defeated George Kambosos Jr in back-to-back fights.

On the other hand, Regis Prograis defeated Jose Zepeda to win the WBC Light Welterweight Title in November 2022. He retained this title in his most recent fight against Danielito Zorrilla.

Do you think Devin Haney will be able to retain his WBC Super Lightweight Title in December or will Regis Prograis become the first person to ever defeat him?
