Earlier this month, Deontay Wilder himself confirmed that the fight with Anthony Joshua would certainly happen in December and both of them will receive their career-high pay.
Deontay Wilder needs no introduction as he dominated all the boxers he faced inside the ring, except Tyson Fury. The latter won two of the matches of their trilogy after the first bout was a draw.
On the other hand, Andy Ruiz is one of the only two fighters and the first one who has ever defeated Anthony Joshua. Andy Ruiz defeated Joshua at MSG in 2019, but then he lost the rematch and unified heavyweight titles as well.
If Deontay Wilder vs Andy Ruiz is actually in the cards, then it will likely be announced officially in the coming weeks.
