DDP To Present Diamond Ring at AEW Dynamite This Week
WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page will present the Dynamite Diamond Ring to the winner of the match between Adam Page vs MJF match on this Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Last week, AEW held the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal(Over the Top Rope rules) on AEW Dynamite. MJF and Adam Page were the last two remaining men after fighting it out against 10 other men. Now, they will face each other this week and the winner will get the Dynamite Diamond Ring.
Now, AEW has announced that DDP will appear on AEW Dynamite to award the Diamond Ring to the winner. DDP has been the winner of WCW’s Lord of the Ring tournament where he was also awarded a ring as the trophy. So, this is a nice throwback to that moment.
AEW has called upon several wrestling legends to present their title belts from time to time. The AEW World Championship belt was unveiled by WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart at AEW Double or Nothing.
The legendary tag team Rock N’ Roll Express was supposed to present the AEW World Tag Team Championship titles to the inaugural champions. But they were attacked by Proud N’ Powerful.
DDP has previously appeared on AEW television already in October. He came out to Cody Rhodes’ aid when he went for a brawl against Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle. This week’s AEW Dynamite episode will be the thanksgiving special from Sears Center in Chicago. The current line-up for the show is as follows:
