Adam Page & MJF To Battle for AEW Diamond Ring
Hangman Adam Page and MJF will face each other in a singles match to win the AEW Diamond Ring at AEW Dynamite next week at Sears Center, Chicago, IL.
AEW booked the Dozen Battle Royal at AEW Dynamite episode this week with the participants being: Adam Page, Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, Kip Sabian, Jimmy Havoc, Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt, Pentagon Jr., Sonny Kiss, Joey Janela, MJF, and Billy Gunn. Some of the notable moments of the match are as below.
- Christopher Daniel, although not in the match, came out dressed as Rey Fenix to distract Pentagon JR. Pentagon was eliminated due to this.
- MJF tossed Sonny Kiss out of the ring after he was twerking in front of Billy Gunn.
- Gunn sends out Stunt,
- Havoc started stapling everyone with his staple gun and the referees threw him out of the match due to this act.
- Jeoy Janela was eliminated from the match when Shawn Spears(not in the match) hit with the chair on the top rope.
- Orange Cassidy, as usual, did nothing for most of the match. The only time he was involved in the match was when he hit Billy Gunn with his stiff/lazy kicks.
- Orange Cassidy was thrown out by MJF and Billy Gunn was furious with him. This was the second time in the match when MJF threw someone out when they engaged with Gunn.
- Gunn unloaded on MJF but Wardlow, from outside, tried to save him. MJF raked Gunn’s eyes and Adam Page hit the lariat to eliminate Gunn.
- Penelope Ford held onto Chuck Taylor’s legs at the apron and Kip Sabian eliminated him. Sabian himself was eliminated just after that with a hurricanrana from Jungle Boy.
- It seemed that Jungle Boy and Adam Page were the last two remainings. But MJF was hiding under the ring for some time. He yanked Jungle Boy off the apron.
- Adam Page and MJF will battle next week for the AEW Diamond Ring.
Next week’s AEW Dynamite will air from Sears Center, Chicago as the Thanksgiving special episode. 3 Matches are already announced for the show while the AEW Women’s Championship match is also expected to be added.
