Aleister Black-Sami Zayn Match at SummerSlam 2019 Canceled

The match between Aleister Black and Sami Zayn planned for SummerSlam 2019 has been canceled from the event and took place at SmackDown this week.

After making his return to the ring at Extreme Rules in the match against Cesaro, Aleister Black put out another open challenge for someone to pick a fight with him last week on SmackDown. Sami Zayn took that challenge minutes later and the two looked set to face off at SummerSlam.

However, this week at SmackDown, Sami Zayn hit the ring and seemed upset that he did not receive any response from Aleister Black. Aleister Black made his signature entrance and announced that their match will take place right away. They compete in a short match after that where Black defeated Zayn after hitting the Black Mass.

In all probability, the match between Sami Zayn and Aleister Black seemed to be canceled for SummerSlam 2019 now. If so, this will be the second match that was planned for SummerSlam but took place this week at WWE TV show. The Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match was also scheduled for SummerSlam. But Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross won the title at this week’s RAW itself.
