205 Live Results and Updates- 2 April 2019
205 Live episode was live from Royal Farms Arena, Baltimore. Below are the updates and results from the episode.
- General Manager Drake Maverick informed that Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese would both speak later in the show. Kalisto would face Oney Lorcan and Akira Tozawa would face Mike Kanellis with Brian Kendrick and Maria Kanellis respectively at their corner.
- Oney Lorcan defeated Kalisto. Kalisto started the match strongly. Lorcan got the control after a back body drop to send Kalisto to outside. Kalisto built some momentum but Lorcan got his knees up at the 450 splash from the top. He then hit Nelson Suplex and got the pin.
- Cedric Alexander asked Drake Maverick why he did not get a match with Oney Lorcan after asking for it. Maverick insists that Alexander is the franchise player for 205 Live, and he needs him at 100% and he will get his match.
- Tony Nese interviewed backstage. Nese said that he does not feel any pressure because nobody expects him to win on Sunday. Buddy Murphy attacked him from behind. The two men brawled all over the backstage area and then into the arena. Nese tossed Murphy off the entrance LED board and took him out with the running knee.
- Akira Tozawa defeated Mike Kanellis. In an awesome back and forth match, Mike went for the roll up and grabbed Maria’s hand to keep pressure. Brain Kendrick broke the grab and Tozawa rolled up Mike to get the pin.
