WWE WrestleMania 41 Results- Sunday, Night 2 – Cody vs Cena

Welcome to the live results blog for WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 event on Sunday, April 20, 2025.

John Cena took part in his last WrestleMania match as he challenged Cody Rhodes for Undisputed WWE Championship. Iyo Sky, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley clashed over Women’s World Championship. Bron Breakker defended Intercontinental title in 4-way match against Penta, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor.

Non title singles matches included a showdown between AJ Styles and Logan Paul and a Sin City Street Fight between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. Randy Orton had issued an open challenge after his match against Kevin Owens was cancelled.

Lyra Valkyrie needed to fight a partner after Bayley was attacked backstage if she needed to keep her Women’s Tag title match on the card against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Tune in below for the results and live updates from WWE WrestleMania 41 night 2.

RESULTS

• Iyo Sky(c) defeated Bianca Belair & Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Match via pinfall to retain Women’s World Championship.
• Drew McIntyre defeated Damian Priest in a Sin City Street Fight via pinfall.
• Dominik Mysterio defeated Bron Breakker(c), Penta & Finn Balor in a Fatal 4-Way Match via pinfall to win WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Iyo Sky(c) vs Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley – Triple Threat Match for Women’s World Championship

A quick start between the trio. Iyo is trying to send the message that she would not be sidelined in this contract. Bianca hits a dropkick to send Rhea to the corner. She avoids Iyo in the same corner and beats up both opponents. Iyo slips away and pulls her away using her braids. Rhea sends Bianca to the corner now into a kick from Iyo. Iyo then hits a double blockbuster on both women. Bianca sends Iyo face first into the turnbuckle. Rhea then threw Bianca into the announce table, only for Iyo to hit her with a moonsault on the floor.

Back to the ring, Bianca clotheslines Rhea out of the ring. She hits a trio of suplexes on Iyo next. Rhea pulls Bianca out of the ring. Bianca catches Iyo mid air as she goes for a hurricanrana and slams her into the barricade. Rhea and Bianca fight back to the ring. Rhea drops Bianca into the corner before ducking Iyo to send her also to the same corner. Rhea puts on the Prism lock. Bianca picks up Rhea from behind but Rhea lands on her feet on the KOD. Rhea and Bianca hit each other with bulldog at the same time.

Iyo hits them with running knees in opposite corners. Rhea meets Iyo at the top. Bianca also joins in to bring everyone down to the mat. Bianca and Rhea trade punches. Rhea hits a big boot to midsection to Bianca. Iyo then hits a springboard dropkick to Rhea. Bianca hits a spear on Iyo. Bianca hits a shooting star press on Iyo. Rhea breaks the pin and hits Bianca with the Riptide, but Bianca kicks out. Iyo counters the Riptide with a DDT. Rhea gets her boot up in the corner to counter Iyo’s running knee.

Rhea goes for the Super Riptide, but Iyo counters with a hurricanrana. Iyo goes for Over the Moonsault, but Rhea gets her boot up again. Bianca quickly picks up Iyo to hit the KOD. Rhea breaks the pin. Bianca starts talking trash to Rhea as she hits some big punches. Rhea dodges her to send her to the apron and slams her face into the ringpost. They fight on the top rope. Rhea hits a headbutt to drop Bianca to the floor. Iyo goes for a poisonrana but Rhea whiplashes her into the ringpost. Bianca goes for the KOD… gets blocked. Rhea goes for the Riptide…. Bianca blocks and slams Rhea with her braid. Bianca hits the KOD on Rhea and goes for the pin. Iyo hits Bianca with Over the Moonsault to get the pinfall.

Drew McIntyre vs Damian Priest – Sin City Street Fight

Drew attacks Priest from behind when Priest was removing her jacket. Priest ducks his punches and clotheslines him to the floor and hits him with a dive. Priest continues with punches at the ringside. Drew hits him with a suplex on the edge of the ramp. Drew takes the steel steps to the ring. Priest throws one of the steps at Drew’s face and then sends her ribs into the barricade. Priest brings out a table to the ring. Drew slams his face to the apron, to the announce table, and then to the ringpost. Drew hits him with the steps next.

Drew hits Priest with the step into his ribs. Drew then gets Priest’s phone from his brother and takes a selfie. Drew also brings out some tables to set them up at ringside. Priest hits him with punches on the apron. Drew hits back with a headbutt and then hits a suicide dive. Drew gets ready for the Claymore but Priest throws a chair at him. The chair bounces off Drew before Drew hits the Claymore to get a near fall.

Drew hits Priest with chair shots. He puts the chair around Priest’s neck and looks for another Claymore. Priest hits him with the South of Heavan chokeslam to get a near fall. Priest then hits chair shots at Drew’s back. He sets up the chair in between the turnbuckles. Drew hits him with a spinebuster. Drew sets up a table in the ring and sets Priest up on the top rope. Drew hits a headbutt. Priest slips off and hits Drew with the Razor’s Edge to put him through the table. Drew kicks out of the pin.

Drew blocks a chokeslam and hits a Futureshock DDT on the steel step inside the ring to get a near fall. They get up and start to brawl with punches and then with chops. Drew hits the Glasgow kiss before Priest drops him with a clothesline. Priest goes for the Old School walk but Drew pushes him off the rope and onto the tables set up on the outside. Drew takes his time to bring Priest back to the ring. He sets up Priest’s face against the chair stuck in between the turnbuckles. Drew hits the Claymore against the said chair to get the pinfall.

Bron Breakker(c) vs Penta vs Dominik Mysterio vs Finn Balor – Fatal 4-Way Match for WWE Intercontinental Championship

Breakker goes after Dominik first but catches Penta. The Judgement Day duo of Balor and Dominik work together to send Breakker to the floor. Penta hits Dominik with a crossbody and Balor with a hurricanrana. An armdrag sends Dominik to the floor after which Penta hits a suicide dive on them. Breakker runs to tackle Penta. Back to the ring, Breakker hits a spear on Dominik but Balor broke the pin.

After hitting some punches to Balor, Breakker hits a back elbow on Penta. Breakker hits some shoulder thrusts on Penta. Balor hits Breakker with a slingblade. Penta does the same to Balor. He sends Dominik to the corner, drops Balor onto him with a drop toe hold and hits a dropkick. Penta hits a kick before hitting Balor with the Sacrifice. Penta looks for his finisher on Balor but Breakker picks them both up to hit German suplex. Breakker looks for a spear on Penta who avoids it.

Dominik takes advantage with kicks on Breakker to send him to the floor. Dominik goes for the three amigos suplexes. Penta blocks the third suplex. Balor comes in to join Dominik to help him hit the third suplex. Breakker hits Dominik and Balor with a double suplex. Breakker tackles them both. He hits a clotheslines on Dominik. He then hits a Frankestiener on Balor from the top rope to get a near fall.

Breakker looks for a spear on Balor who hits him with a kick. Penta hits a superkick on Breakker. Dominik hits Penta with a dropkick. Balor hits Breakker with a clothesline to send him to the floor. Trouble in Judgement Day as Dominik hits a dropkick on Balor to set up for 619. Balor blocks it and hits Dominik with several stomps. Penta hits Balor with Penta Driver on Balor. Breakker breaks the pin.

Breakker and Penta trade strikes and kicks. Carlito pulls the ropes as Breakker ran the ropes to get him to the floor. Dominik goes after Penta who hits him with the Mexican Destroyer. Carlito pulls Penta out of the ring to stop the pinfall. Carlito sets up the announce table for Penta but Breakker jumps off the other announce table for a spear on Carlito. Breakker hits a spear on Penta. Dominik hits a dropkick on Breakker before hitting 619. Balor trips Dominik on the top turnbuckle. Balor hits Breakker with slingblade and Coupe De Grace. Dominik then hits a frog splash on Balor to get the pinfall.

Winner – Dominik Mysterio

Huge reaction from the crowd as Dominik gets the title. He walks up the ramp as continues to celebrate, but runs into the ring again for another huge pop.

Randy Orton vs Joe Hendry

TNA Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry has answered Orton’s open challenge. The bell rings and Orton goes for RKO, but Hendry rolls him up to get a two-count. Orton hits a kick to midsection. Hendry kicks him away and looks for a DDT, but Orton blocks it. Hendry hits a neckbreaker instead. Hendry looks for a chokeslam, but Orton easily stops it and flicks at Hendry’s eyes. Orton hits clotheslines and a snap powerslam. He hits his signature Draping DDT from the second rope. Orton looks for the RKO, but Hendry scoops him up to hit a fallaway slam. Hendry does his signature pose but Orton hits RKO out of nowhere to get the pinfall.

Winner – Randy Orton

After the match, Orton shakes hands with Hendry and gives him some words of encouragement. But then, Orton hits another RKO. Orton then does Hendry’s spin before doing his signature pose.

AJ Styles vs Logan Paul

They lock up and AJ pushes Logan to the corner. Logan turns him around to the turnbuckle before the referee calls for a break. They trade side headlocks. AJ has to pick up Logan to break free off it. AJ hits a shoulder tackle after some running around. He hits a dropkick to get a two-count. Logan kicks him on the floor to send him into the announce table. AJ then traps Logan in the apron cloth and hits several punches and a running knee.

Logan drives AJ into the barricade. AJ reverses a whip to send him into the barricade himself. AJ throws Logan into the ring. Logan catches him on the ropes, slams his face into the ringpost and then throws him to the floor. Logan hits a springboard crossbody on the floor. He slams AJ’s face into the announce table and the apron. Logan then chokes AJ with the apron cloth. He drops AJ’s hand on the ropes before hitting a frog splash to get a two-count.

Logan whips AJ hard into the corner. He hits an overbomb to get another two-count. A big boot is followed by split leg drop. Logan unleashes some jabs which wokes up AJ to fire some big punches. AJ tries to catch him midair but Logan turns it into a pin to get a two-count. Logan hits a kidney shot after ducking a big swing, followed by European Uppercuts. AJ avoids getting into the corner and hits a couple of clothesline, unleashes a flurry of strikes, a knee to the back and a forearm.

AJ hits a corner clothesline before a brainbuster to get a two-count. Logan blocks the Styles Clash. AJ blocks the Paulvalizer. Logan picks up AJ off the ropes to hit a senton and a springboard senton to get a two-count. AJ knocks him off the ropes with a back elbow. Logan jumps back up to eat more elbows. AJ hits a kick to back when Logan tries to block the Styles Clash. Logan hits some punches before hitting the Buckshot Lariat to get a two-count.

Logan signals for the Titanium Punch, but Styles ducks it. AJ hits a tilt-a-whirl powerbomb to get a two-count. Logan gets his knees up on the springboard 450 splash. Logan hits the Styles Clash. AJ hits back with the Styles Clash quickly. Logan’s entrouge member tries to slip him the Brass Knuckles but Karrion Kross decks him. Kross asks AJ to use the Brass Knuckles, but AJ throws them away and decks Kross instead. AJ sets up for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Logan counters with the Titanium Punch and hits the Paulvalizer to get the pinfall.

Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez(c) vs Lyra Valkyrie & Becky Lynch – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Liv and Raquel enter for the match first. Lyra comes out next and waits for her partner on the end of the ramp. Becky Lynch makes her return to WWE. Liv and Raquel are surprised. Becky takes her time in walking down the ramp to join Lyra before hitting the ring.

Becky starts the match against Liv who quickly tags in Raquel. Becky fakes a tag out before hitting a big punch on Raquel. She goes after Liv who jumps off to the floor. Becky goes for a choke on Raquel and tags in Lyra for some double team attack. Raquel is sent to the floor where Lyra hits her with a suicide dive. Liv distracts Lyra as she gets to the top rope which allows Raquel to hit her with a boot.

Lyra is now cut off from Becky with quick tags from Liv and Raquel. Liv hits the Three Amigos suplexes. She hits a running knee after taking a cheap shot at Becky. Raquel tags in to hit a rose assisted suplex to get a two-count. Liv boots Lyra before hitting another suplex. Lyra hits upkicks on Raquel. She also avoids an elbow drop as she tries to get to Becky. Liv comes in to stop her but Lyra kicks her away. Lyra goes for a tag but Liv pulls Becky off the apron. Becky chases Liv who runs into the ring where Raquel catches Becky with a boot.

Raquel hits a tilt-a-whirl slam on Lyra. They go for a double team move but Lyra hangs onto the ropes, tackles Liv and avoids a spear from Raquel. Lyra tags in Becky who hits quick tackles on Liv. Raquel comes in and gets hit with corner splashes before hitting her with a cannonball. Becky hits a Bexploder on Liv. Liv rolls to the floor. Becky hits her with a cannonball and brings her back. Becky puts on the disarmher. Raquel breaks the submission.

Raquel kicks at Lyra. Becky removes Raquel from the ring, but Liv catches her with the Oblivion. Lyra breaks the pin. Lyra dives at Raquel on the floor who catches her. Lyra then counters with a DDT. Liv goes to kick Lyra through the ropes. Becky waits for her to turn around and hits the Manhandle Slam to get the pinfall.

Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out on his dirt bike. He announces the night’s attendence of 63226. That takes the two days attendence to be 124693. Then, he does his signature celebration with beers.

Cody Rhodes(c) vs John Cena – Undisputed WWE Championship

Cena makes his entrance with dim lights and a without a video package on the titantron. Cody makes his entrance next. He hugs his daughter, wife, and mother in the front row. The crowd is roaring with mixed chants as the bell rings. They let the crowd simmer a bit more before locking up. Cena gets a side headlock on, but Cody throws him to the ropes and hits a shoulder tackle. Cena rolls out of the ring immediately to regroup. Cena plays up being the heel and smirks at the crowd as they chant against him.

Cody wrenches his arm, but Cena quickly gets to the ropes to force a break. Cena wastes some more time as he keep standing on the apron. Cody wrenches the arm once more. Cena hits a back elbow. Cody takes him to the mat and wraps his legs around his neck. Cena breaks free and goes to the floor once again. Cody hits him with a suicide dive. He throws Cena back to the ring who catches him with a kick on his way back. Cena then hits a couple of punches. Another big shot drops Cody to the mat. Cena then hits him with some stomps with mean intentions. Cena throws Cody’s face into the turnbuckle. He hits a big boot next. He hits another punch to drop Cody back to the mat when he gets up.

Cody hits some punches to his ribs. Cena stomps at his leg and hits another punch. He puts on some extra effort when he whips Cody to the corner. Cody rolls to the floor. Cena brings him back and hits another boot to the face. He hits lariats when Cody gets up next time. Cena puts on a choke. It takes some efforts from Cody to get up to his feet. Cody hits punches to ribs before some punches to the head. Cena scoops him up to hit a side slam to get a two-count. He hits a double ax handle off the second rope before slamming Cody’s face into the turnbuckle pad before hitting double ax handle once more. Cody hits him with a kick midair as Cena goes for the ax handle third time. Cody hits more punches before Cena flicks at Cody’s eyes and hits more punches to get a two-count.

Cody reverses a whip to the corner but Cena hits him with a boot and a tornado DDT to get a two-count. Cena hits a flying shoulder tackle. He waits for Cody to get up before hitting the flying tackle the second time. Cena waits some more before hitting a spinout powerbomb in slow motion. He goes to signal for “Five Knuckle Shuffle” when Cody flicks at his eyes. Cody hits a scoop powerslam and a disaster kick in quick succession. He hits a Cody Cutter next to get a two-count. Cody hits his signature jabs but Cena does not let him hit the Bionic elbow and trips him with a drop toe hold to go for the STFU. Cody kicks him away but Cena scoops him up to the Attitude Adjustment. Cody kicks out of the pin.

Cena signals for the Five Knuckle Shuffle and hits it this time. Cody rolls out of the AA and hits a big right. Cena whips him to the corner. Cody escapes to the apron and hits another right. Cody gets to the top rope when Cena trips him. Cena then picks him up from the second rope and hits a Super Attitude Adjustment. Cody kicks out again. Cena gets to the top rope now. Cody counters with a sitout powerbomb to get a near fall. Cody then hits a Cody Cutter after springboard from the top rope to get another near fall.

Cody waits for Cena to get up again and goes for the Crossrhodes. Cena escapes and hits the AA again. He does not go for the pin, but puts Cody in the STFU. Cody drags towards the ropes. Cena brings him back to the middle. Cody starts to drag himself again towards the ropes. Cena brings him back and this time, all over to the corner. Cody kicks Cena, who collides with the referee. The referee is down when Cody hits Cena with the Crossrhodes. Cody goes to wake up the referee. Cena removes the turnbuckle pad in one corner. Cena goes to Cody and invites some punches to gets him towards the exposed corner. When they get closer, Cena slams Cody’s face in the exposed turnbuckle twice before hitting another AA. The referee gets up, but Cody kicks out of the pin once again.

Travis Scott’s music hits and he slowly walks towards the ring. Cena is laughing looking at him. When Scott reaches the apron, Cena raises his hands and brings Cody to him. Cody punches Cena and takes a swing at Scott also who jumps off the apron to avoid it. Cody hits a Crossrhodes, but Scott pulls the referee out of the ring to stop the pin. The referee is down on the floor once again. Cody screams at Scott to get into the ring to fight him. Scott obliges. He takes a swing at Cody who hits him with the Crossrhodes instead. Cody pushes Scott to the floor.

Behind him, Cena has brought in the WWE title belt. He goes to hit Cody who ducks it and snatches the belt off him. Cena plays possum. Cody is in dilemna whether to use the title or not. Cody throws the title away, but Cena hits him with a low blow. Cena then hits Cody with the title belt. He tells the referee to get back in the ring who counts the pinfall.

Winner – John Cena

Cena celebrates with the title. He brings Travis Scott in the ring to raise hands with him. Cody leaves the ring and is recovering at the ramp while Cena and Scott are still in the ring as the show closes.
