WWE WrestleMania 40: Tag Team Title Ladder Match Line-up Finalized
The line-up for Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship ladder match at WrestleMania 40 is now final.
Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest are forced to defend the undisputed tag team titles in a ladder match which would feature a total of 6 teams. From RAW side, three more teams qualified for the match – New Day(Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods), DIY(Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa), and Awesome Truth(R-Truth & The Miz).
New Day defeated Alpha Academy to qualify for the match. DIY beat The Creed Brothers to get a spot. Awesome Truth defeated Indus Sher on RAW March 18 episode to enter the title match at WrestleMania.
On the SmackDown side, 8 teams fought it out in a mini-tournament for the two remaining spots, which were decided on the SmackDown March 29 episode. A-Town Down Under(Grayson Waller & Austin Theory) qualified for the match by beating The Street Profits in qualifier 1. They defeated in the first round of the tournament.
Similarly, New Catch Republic(Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) qualified for the match beating Legado Del Fantasma in qualifier 1. They defeated Pretty Deadly in the first round.
WWE WrestleMania 40 is set to take place over two nights on April 6 and April 7 this year. On which night will the tag team ladder take place is not clear at the moment. However, who do you think will walk out of the match as the champions? Tell us in comments.
