WWE SmackDown episode of March 25, 2022, will be the second last episode before WrestleMania 38. The show will air from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, NY.
No matches are announced for the show yet. WWE has teased that Brock Lesnar will continue to chase down Roman Reigns. It will also be interesting to see how Ronda Rousey will respond to Charlotte Flair. Lot more action is expected with the show inching closer to WrestleMania 38. A women’s Fatal 4-way match is announced with Sasha, Ripley, Shayna & Zelina in action. Nakamura takes on Jimmy Uso.

Live Updates
Brock Lesnar is waiting outside Roman Reigns’ locker room. Kayla Braxton gets in and asks what Lesnar has to say about last week’s action. Lesnar says he has brought Roman an SUV in his favorite color – blood red. The upper management has told him that he can’t lay his hands on Roman unless provoked. So, he is gonna stay in Roman’s locker room and wait for being provoked. Lesnar goes inside the locker room, sits on Sofa and smashes tea table with a kick.
We get the recap of what has happened between the two teams. Nakamura makes his entrance with Rick Boogs leading the way. Jimmy Uso comes out with Jey. A brawl starts as The Usos attack their opponents. Nakamura hits a big roundhouse on Jimmy to drop him while Boogs hits bench press slam. The Usos get on the floor to regroup. We cut to a break.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jimmy Uso
They lock to start the match. Jimmy hits a shoulder block. Nakamura gets on the waistlock before Jimmy cranks on his arm. Nakamura reverses it before Jimmy hits another shoulder tackle. Nakamura with a roll-up but he misses a roundhouse kick. Nakamura slams Jimmy’s face into the turnbuckle. He hits a running knee by setting up Jimmy on the apron. Back to the ring, Jimmy hits a clothesline.
Jimmy hits a backdrop suplex for a two-count. He puts a chinlock. He slams Nakamura face first into the mat when he tries to get up. Nakamura escapes to the apron but Jimmy hits him with an enziguiri to drop him to the floor. Jimmy goes for a suicide dive but Nakamura cuts him off with a gamengiri to take us to the break.
Back from the break, Nakamura keeps control over Jimmy with kick and more shots. Jey Uso drops Boogs on the floor. Nakamura gets into an argument with him and Jimmy hits a superkick when he turns around to get a near fall. Boogs slams Jey into the ringpost. Nakamura counters and hits kinshasa for the pin and the win.
Winner – Shinsuke Nakamura
A recap in RAW Rebound for how Kevin Owens came to RAW disguised as Stone Cold Steve Austin and mocked the WWE Hall of Famer.
Lesnar is still in the locker room and does not like grapes that were on the table. He throws them away.
McIntyre & Corbin
We are backstage with Drew McIntyre getting interviewed. Drew says this WrestleMania match is different from others and is very personal as Corbin tried to end his career. He could have taken down Corbin at any time, but he wants the most eyeballs at WrestleMania where he will wipe the stupid grin off his face.
We see a video package of how Corbin was poor Corbin last summer before being stumbling on a pile of money in Vegas’ Casino. A breif recap of his rivalry with Drew McIntyre. Corbin is with Madcapp Moss backstage now. Corbin says his life is awesome and he will make it better by dropping McIntyre. Moss jokes that his biography should be called “bald guys.” Corbin gets upset and leaves.
Xavier Woods vs Ridge Holland
Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch are out in the ring. Kofi comes to the stage and says when he said there will be a match, he was not talking about himself. He brings out Xavier Woods. Woods heads out to the ring with Kofi to face Holland.
Woods hits a superkick to start. Woods follows with punches before Holland drops him. Woods drops down before hitting more kicks. Holland hits a big tackle to send Woods flying. Holland shows off a bit. Woods rolls up Holland to sneak in a pin.
Winner – Xavier Woods
Woods gets out of the ring right after the match and celebrates with Kofi on the stage.
Roman Reigns sends a message from his SUV. Roman says he and Wiseman Paul Heyman are dealing with some business in the city, and then they will get to Del Frosto… something restaurant. Roman warns Brock of getting out of his locker room until he gets to the Barclays center.
Ronda Speaks!
Ronda enters before the break. After the commercials, we get a recap of SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair taking her down in the last two weeks.
Ronda is on the mic and says just because Flair slammed her into the table, she will force her to tap out and force her to hand her the title herself. She asks Flair to come out now. Flair appears on the screen and says she was not going to be low-class city Brooklyn before WrestleMania.
Ronda says she broke her first hand when she was 11, and she has now lost count how many more hands she has broken. The trash talk continues for a while. Ronda says if Flair wins at WrestleMania, it will be her biggest win in her career. When Ronda wins, it will be just another win for Ronda.
Kayla Braxton gets into Roman’s locker room to interview Brock. She asks whether Brock should leave the room. Brock says he is having too much fun, and Kayla should go and find Roman quickly because he is running out of things to smash. Brock throws a lamp away.
Ricochet vs Angel – Intercontinental Championship Contender match
Garza gets the early control with quick moves. He puts on a side headlock. Ricochet kips up and hits some kicks in the corner. He follows with a springboard lariat. Humberto Carrillo distracts him when he gets to the top. Ricochet comes down to deal with him but Angel rolls him up for the win.
Winner – Angel
After the match, Angel and Humberto run away to the stage. Ricochet gets on the mic and challenges Humberto for a match. Humberto accepts and gets into the ring.
Ricochet vs Hubmerto – Intercontinental Championship Contender match
Back and forth quick action starts the match. Ricochet hits a Frankensteiner. He drops Carrillo out of the floor with a dropkick. Ricochet hits tope con giro on the floor.
Ricochet hits an enziguiri as Humberto was on the ropes. Ricochet hits a headscissors from the second rope. Ricochet charges with running uppercuts in the corner. He follows with springboard moonsault. Angel distracts but Ricochet drops him with a punch. Humberto attacks but Ricochet counters with a suplex.
Ricochet gets to the top but Humberto gets on the floor. Ricochet hits a crossbody on Angel. The referee starts to count down. Ricochet hits a suplex on Humberto on the floor. He sends Humberto back to the ring as the referee reaches 8. Angel grabs his ankle from underneath the ring and stops him from getting inside the ring as the referee reaches 10.
Winner – Humberto
Angel gets out from the other side of the ring to avoid suspicion. Humberto and Angel run away to the stage to celebrate their win and mock Ricochet.
Sasha Banks vs Rhea Ripley vs Queen Zelina vs Shayna Baszler – Fatal 4-way Match
Rhea scares Zelina out of the ring. Shayna also gets out when Rhea and Sasha corner her. Sasha goes for a waistlock on Rhea. Rhea throws her away. She runs the ropes and hits an elbow. Sasha hits armdrags. Shayna comes in and Sasha sends her to the corner for double knees. Sasha hits a bulldog on Rhea for a two-count. Zelina trips Sasha and pulls her out. All four teams start brawling in the ring to take us to the break.
Rhea has Sasha in a cloverleaf. Shayna hits a knee on Sasha. Rhea hits a big punch on Shayna. Zelina hits Rhea with a Frankesteiner. Zelina tries to pin all three women one by one, but they all kick out. Zelina hits double knees to Shayna. Sasha moves away when she goes after her. Sasha puts Zelina in Bank Statement. Shayna comes in and goes for joint manipulation. Sasha puts both Zelina and Shayna into Bank Statement at the same time. Rhea breaks it with a dropkick.
Shayna puts Rhea in Kirafuda Clutch. Sasha hits backstabber on both. Zelina hits Code red on Sasha, but Shayna breaks the pin. Zelina and Shayna fight on the floor. Rhea hits Shayna with a cannonball. Zelina hits her with headscissors. Zelina gets in to the ring. Sasha puts her in Bank Statement to get the submission win.
Winner – Sasha Banks
Roman Reigns’ car pulls in the parking lot. Paul Heyman opens the door for him and says he is not feeling well. Roman says they will be good, but Brock won’t be. We cut to a break.
After the break, Andre The Giant Battle Royal is announced for WrestleMania SmackDown next week. Ricochet will defend the Intercontinental title in a triple threat match.
Lesnar Unleashed
Roman Reigns makes his entrance with Paul Heyman. Lots of boos as he gets ready for the promo. He asks the crowd to Acknowledge him. He asks Heyman if Brock is still in his locker room. Heyman says he does not know that. Roman tells Heyman to not be afraid. He tells Brock that if he is in his locker room still, he will personally come to smash his face into the wall. The camera zooms in the room, but Lesnar is not there. Roman gets mad when the crowd starts to chant Suplex City and says this is the Island of Relevance city.
Lesnar appears in the parking lot and smashes Roman’s SUV’s doors. Roman says it does not affect his as he has got 4. He tells Lesnar that there will not be any weapons allowed at WrestleMania. Lesnar starts to come out. Lesnar comes through the crowd and stands on top on announce table. Some security comes out and Lesnar gets a steel chair. Roman taunts Lesnar and he starts to beat up security with steel chair. The Usos come out and take Roman away. Lesnar hit more security personnel with steel chair. He stands on top of the announce table. Roman says from The Gorilla position, “Brock will acknowledge him as the Undisputed Universal Championship.”
Preview
Brock Chasing Roman: Brock Lesnar has become bloodthirsty ever since Roman attacked him at MSG few weeks back. Last week, Lesnar tripped down Roman’s car with a forklift, but Roman managed to run away with another vehicle. He later proclaimed that he wants Roman’s blood. We can surely expect that Lesnar would continue to chase down Roman at this week’s episode also.
How will Ronda Respond?: For two weeks in a row, Charlotte Flair has managed to take down Ronda Rousey and stand tall over her. How will Ronda respond over the humiliation from the last two weeks?
Women’s Fatal 4-Way: With just one week left before WrestleMania, one participants each from 4 teams in Women’s Tag Team match will face-off at SmackDown. Sasha Banks, Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler & Queen Zelina will clash to get an upper hand going into the title match.
Nakamura vs Jimmy: Shinsuke Nakamura will return to singles action as he will take on one half of SmackDown Tag Team Champions Jimmy Uso.
