WWE SmackDown April 5: Jey vs Solo, Andre The Giant Battle Announced
WWE has announced a brother’s clash between Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa, Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and more for WWE SmackDown April 5, 2024 episode.
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal is an yearly tradition around WrestleMania and has taken place on SmackDown before WrestleMania for the last 3 years. It will feature around 20 wrestlers from the main roster. However, no names have been announced for the Battle Royal yet.
Jey Uso is set to face his twin brother Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania 40. But he will have to deal with his other brother on SmackDown next week. The Bloodline has tasked Solo with taking out Jey ahead of WrestleMania.
New Catch Republic and A-Town Down Under qualified for tag team ladder match for Undisputed Tag Team Championship. We will get a teaser of this match as these two teams will clash in a match on SmackDown April 5 episode.
Zelina Vega and Elektra Lopez will advance the rivalry between LWO and Legado Del Fantasma with a singles match. They started a brawl between these faction during a segment this week.
Kevin Owens is set to host Randy Orton on the KO show. Both these men are set to be part of a triple threat match to challenge United States Champion Logan Paul at WrestleMania this year.
April 5, 2024 edition of WWE SmackDown will be the go home episode for WrestleMania 40. It will air from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. The announced line-up is as below:
