Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso Match Official for WWE WrestleMania XL
The Usos are heading towards another civil war at WWE WrestleMania 40 event.
Brothers and former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso will clash in a singles match at WrestleMania this year. The match was made official on SmackDown after Jimmy accepted the challenge posted by Jey earlier this week on RAW.
The storyline between Jey and Jimmy started at SummerSlam 2023 where Jimmy turned on Jey to cost him Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against their cousin Roman Reigns. Following this, Jey left SmackDown as he did not want to engage with his family anymore. He later joined RAW and became tag team champion with Cody Rhodes.
The tension between Jey and Jimmy restarted at Royal Rumble when they entered the men’s Royal Rumble match at #1 and #2, respectively. Jey eliminated Jimmy halfway into the match. Jey challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship last month, but Jimmy cost him the match.
Jey cut a promo on RAW and said he had to change his stance over his family and challenged Jimmy for a match at WrestleMania 40. Jimmy responded to the challenge on SmackDown in a backstage interview.
WrestleMania 40 is set to take place over two nights on April 6 and April 7 at Lincoln Field in Philadelphia, PA. It is not announced on which night will this match take place.
Recently, Gunther vs Sami Zayn match for WWE Intercontinental Championship was also made announced for WrestleMania.
