Welcome to the live results blog for WWE RAW July 29, 2024 episode which will be live from St. Paul, MN.
SummerSlam 2024 build-up will be in full flow as Gunther faces Finn Balor. Seth Rollins will give his referee instructions to Drew McIntyre and CM Punk. Sheamus takes on Bronson Reed while Xavier Woods faces Karrion Kross in singles matches.

RESULTS & UPDATES
Rollins, McIntyre & Punk
Seth Rollins came out to the ring in a designer referee shirt. He called out morons CM Punk and Drew McIntyre as he was about to give his referee instructions. Rollins reminded that their match would be off if they laid a finger on each other before that. Punk left the ring and stood by the announce table. Rollins told him to get in, but Punk said he left the ring so that he could have a better self control. Rollins said he volunteered to be the referee since no one else would, and told Punk to get back into the ring. Punk had to oblige.
McIntyre tried to tell Rollins that Punk is not what is best for the business. Rollins replied that he hated Punk more than McIntyre, but McIntyre should shut up so that he could give the instructions. There is only one instruction, that is whatever he would say would be the law. Punk warned Rollins to be a neutral. McIntyre cut him off saying that he was worried about the wrong man. He added that he was sick of hearing Punk’s name being chanted at him for the last seven months.
Punk replied that fans were still chanting his name for 10 years he was not in WWE, and they also sing for Rollins, but they did not cheer McIntyre at all. He called McIntyre dumb and stupid to squander his opportunities. He claimed to have fans support behind him, and asked what did McIntyre has? McIntyre showed Punk his bracelet to irk him. The duo ended the segment with an intense staredown.
Backstage, Judgment Day found their clubhouse trashed. They all come to a conclusion that it was Liv Morgan.
After the break, Damian Priest came into the clubhouse as others were trying to get it sorted. Finn Balor told him that he did not need anyone in his corner when he would face Gunther later tonight. They discussed taking care of Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. Dominik instructed Carlito to take care of Sami.
The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) vs Akira Tozawa & Otis
The Creed Brothers started on a good note against Otis, but Otis ran them down with a double clothesline. Tozawa came in for flying crossbody. Julius hit him with a deadlift delayed German suplex. Tozawa rallied against Brutus to send him to the floor. He hit a suicide dive to take us to a break.
The Creed Brothers were in control after the break. Tozawa fought back to tag in Otis who ran rampant. Otis dropped Julius with a body slam despite Chad Gable’s interference before hitting the caterpillar. After another cheap shot from Gable, The Creed Brothers were able to drop Otis off the top rope with a back suplex to get the pinfall.
Winner – The Creed Brothers
Chad Gable came into the ring to stand on top of Otis with The Creeds when Maxxine Dupri came in and slapped Gable. Lights went down as The Wyatt Sicks started making their entrance. Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis came out and stood on the apron. Gable tried to sneak away but Nikki Cross jumped onto him from behind. Gacy and Lumis dropped The Creed Brothers before Rowan hit them with a crossbody. Gable ran to the stage where Bo Dallas was waiting for him. Gable ran away.
Carlito returned to the clubhouse where Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio were waiting. Carlito told that Dominik had a match against Sami now. Dominik snapped at him clarifying that Carlito was meant to take care of Sami, not him. Rhea told Carlito to take care of Jey Uso since he was free.
Sheamus vs Bronson Reed
They started with big rights before Reed hit a tackle. Sheamus put him in a sleeper which was countered into the corner for some chops. Sheamus clotheslined him to the floor. Reed countered to drop Sheamus on the announce table to take us to a break.
After the break, Sheamus started to fight back with short clotheslines. He hit a jumping knee next. Reed slipped off his shoulder before hitting a Death Valley Driver himself. Sheamus hit back with White Noise and then hit Ten Beats of Bodhran. Reed got tangled into the ropes. The referee got busy in untangling Reed as Sheamus stood in one corner. Pete Dunne hit Sheamus with a shillelagh. Reed then hit Tsunami to get the pinfall.
Winner – Bronson Reed
We got a promo from Damian Priest against Gunther.
Carlito vs Jey Uso
Jey decks Carlito before hitting a tope suicida on the floor. He continued with the momentum until Carlito responed with a twisting neckbreaker off the ropes.
After the break, Jey hit a superkick to return to the match. Carlito hit back with a cutter. Jey hit an enzuigiri but Carlito hit a spinebuster. Carlito took a bite of his apple, but the referee told him to dispose it off. Jey rolled up Carlito to take advantage to get a two-count. This was followed by a spear from Jey to get the pinfall.
Winner – Jey Uso
Zelina Vega was giving an interview backstage, talking about her arm being injured. Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark came up and started arguing with her before starting to beat her.
The Miz was backstage where he revealed that he would be the host of SummerSlam. He said SummerSlam was being held in his house. R-Truth came in thinking that WWE has brought back “In Your House” PLE. Miz tried hard to explain that he would be the host of SummerSlam. R-Truth thought that Miz would host SummerSlam in his house.
Xavier Woods vs Karrion Kross
After the bell rung, Kross took a mic and started talking trash. Woods attacked him and sent him to the outside into a break.
After the break, Kross hit a suplex to Woods as he was in control. Woods started to get fired up with some chops and a flying forearm. Kross got him up on his shoulders, but Woods slipped off to roll up Kross for a two-count. Akam decked Woods from the outside. Woods still hit Kross with a kick before hitting a tope suicida to Akam. He sent Rezar into the ring post. Kross dodged an elbow drop and hit The Final Prayer to get the pinfall.
Winner – Karrion Kross
Sami Zayn cut a promo backstage about Bron Breakker attacking him last week and how Breakker thought he would lose their title match since he was having a comedy show that weekend.
We saw a recorded video from Liv Morgan where she was burning Dominik’s photos and shirts.
Sami Zayn vs Dominik Mysterio
Dominik started with a kick to midsection before Sami turned around an arm wrench. Dominik fired punches in the corner, but had to leave to the floor anticipating a reply from Sami. Sami threw him to the floor again to hit a springboard moonsault to take us to a break.
Dominik was stomping on Sami as they returned. Sami hit back but Dominik hit back with the Three Amigos. He hit a 619 but avoided a frog splash. Sami hit a Blue Thunderbomb. JD McDonagh and Carlito attacked Sami to cause a DQ.
Winner – Sami Zayn
After the match, Jey Uso ran out to help out Sami against Judgment Day members. Sami was left alone in the ring when Bron Breakker attacked him from behind. Sami fought back to set up Breakker in the corner, but he escaped. Breakker tried to catch Sami off guard, but Sami clotheslined him to the floor.
We got a VHS tape from The Wyatt Sicks which featured Dexter Lumis and some tiny soundbytes from him.
After the break, Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers were with Adam Pearce asking for a match against The Wyatt Sicks next week. Pearce asked them if they were sure before making the match official.
Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, & Katana Chance vs Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, & Shayna Baszler
Sonya hit a knee to Lyra to start the match. Zoey came in to hit a dropkick. Lyra wrenched Zoeys arm before bringing in Chance. Carter also came in for a double team on Zoey. Lyra hit a dropkick to send Zoey to the floor.
After the break, Shayna stomped on Lyra in the corner. Sonya came in and Lyra caught him with a boot. Carter and Shayna got tags. Carter ran rampant. Zoey came in but ate a hurricanrana. Chance hit a codebreaker off Carter’s shoulders. Lyra tagged in to slam Stark, but Sonya and Shayna broke the pin. Chance tagged in for the After Party, but Shayna and Sonya pulled Carter to the floor. Zoey hit Z-360 on Chance to get the pinfall.
Winner – Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler
After the match, Damage CTRL’s came out to brawl with the heel trios. Zoey, Shayna and Sonya were dumped to the floor before Sky hit them with Over The Moonsault.
After the break, Cathy Kelley interviewed Damage CTRL where Dakota Kai challenged Sonya Deville to a match next week.
Gunther vs Finn Balor
Balor started with a few chops, but Gunther replied with a few of his owns. Gunther hit a missile dropkick Balor hit back a running knee and stomps. Gunther hit a big boot to take us to a break. then levels Balor with a boot.
Gunther was in control as we returned after the break. Balor grabbed the bottom rope when Gunther put him in Boston Crab. Balor hit a crossbody before sending him to the floor to hit a clothesline. Gunther hit a clothesline before Balor caught him with a Sling Blade before hitting double stomps and a dropkick. Gunther moves out of Coupe De Grace and locked in a Sleeper to put Balor to sleep.
Winner – Gunther
After the match, Gunther put on the Sleeper on Balor once again. Damian Priest came out to brawl with Gunther. He sent Gunther into the barricade before stomping on him on the announce table. He closed the show by continuing to beat Gunther.
