WWE RAW episode of July 15, 2024, featured the main event Intercontinental Championship match between Sami Zayn and Ilja Dragunov. Drew McIntyre returned to discuss a match against CM Punk.

World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest and Gunther came face-to-face. Rhea Ripley opened the show to fix match at SummerSlam 2024 PLE. Tune in below for the complete results from WWE RAW July 15, 2024 episode with updates and highlights.

RESULTS & UPDATES

Rhea Ripley made her entrance. She said something was taken from her, and she was not talking about Dominik Mysterio, as she would deal with him later. She was talking about how Liv Morgan injured her 3 months ago. She asked for Liv to come out, but Dominik came out, wanting to explain everything. Heavy boos from the crowd did not let him talk at all. Liv appeared on the big screen and said she wanted to take away everything from her, but she had caught feelings for Dominik. Rhea said they would clash at Summerslam where Liv Morgan Revenge Tour would be over. Liv replied that she always knew her vs Rhea was the endgame, but Rhea should be vary that she was not the same Liv. Rhea said she would not only win back the title, but would end Liv’s career. Dominik followed Rhea to the back, trying to talk to her, but she was not listening.

We saw Drew McIntyre coming to the arena.

After the break, Dominik was still following Rhea to her locker room. He had set up something special, but Rhea slammed the door on her face. Damian Priest was behind him smilling as he turns around. Rhea threw something from the room. Dominik says things were a little complicated.

Sheamus defeated Bronson Reed in a singles match. Sheamus hit White Noise but Reed kicked out of the pin. Reed hit back with a powerbomb for a near fall. Sheamus then avoided a moonsault and hit Brogue Kick to get the pinfall.

After the match, Reed looked to attack Sheamus but Pete Dunne cut him off. Sheamus wanted to shake hands with Dunne, but he refused and left the ring. As Sheamus turned around, Dunne attacked him from behind. This was followed by Reed hitting Sheamus with a Tsunami.

Rhea Ripley was talking to Damian Priest in Judgment Day’s clubhouse. They discussed how Priest was dealing with so much before Rhea asked what was Carlito doing in their clubhouse. Dominik came in to talk to Rhea once again, but Rhea went away. Carlito filled in for a comic quip saying that things were not good.

Ilja Dragunov went to Sami Zayn and told him that he did not help out last week to get a title shot. Sami replied that he knew this, and he asked to face Ilja as he looked himself him in Ilja.

We got a pre-recorded promo from Gunther where he talked about how everyone was chasing a dream when he came to WWE and the titles were worthless. He said he restored the prestige of Intercontinental title and would bring the same prestige to World title.

Zelina Vega was interviewed backstage where she said she would wait until SummerSlam so that Liv and Rhea could sort out their love triangle, but would then face the winner. Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler came in and told her that she was not in the line as the line started with them. Zelina told them their scare tactics would not work on her, and they should sort it out tonight.

Sonya Deville defeated Zelina Vega in a singles match. Shayna Baszler hurt Zelina’s arm while the referee was distracted. Sonya then hit Devile’s advocate to get the pinfall.

Sonya, Shayna and Zoey looked to attack Zelina after the match, but Lyra Valkyrie, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter ran out to make the save.

Dominik went to Damian Priest asking why he did not tell him about Rhea coming back last week. Priest replied that Dominik was busy with Liv to listen to him. Jey Uso came in and mocked Dominik about Rhea. Priest instigated Dominik to face Jey tonight.

Chad Gable went to Adam Pearce to tell him that he had cracked the code and Bo Dallas was Uncle Howdy. He asked what did Dallas talked to Pearce last week. Pearce said he could go and talk to Dallas himself.

World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest made his entrance. He said he was supposed to face Strowman, but face-to-face with Gunther should happen first. Gunther made his way out. Gunther said he was ready to lift that weight from his shoulder without embarassing him. Priest replied that while Gunther was handed things, but he had to fight on the streets to even get to WWE. Gunther replied that being on a street was a choice and went on to blame his parents for that kind of life. He added that it was once again on him to take the World title away from the street trash. Priest got enraged and replied that Gunther would be left with nothing after Summerslam. They got into each other’s face before Braun Strowman came out.

Adam Pearce was telling Jey Uso about his match against Dominik tonight. Bron Breakker came in after Jey left. Breakker asked why he handed the title shot to Ilja Dragunov. Pearce brought in security to keep Breakker away from the title match. Breakker said he would leave on his own.

Damian Priest defeated Braun Strowman in a singles match. Strowman looked for a tackle on the floor, but Priest avoided him to send him into the barricade. He followed it with a chokeslam to get the pinfall.

Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark defeated Katana Chance and Kayden Carter in a tag team match. Sonya Devile ran distractions multiple times which led to Baszler and Stark hitting double team finisher to get the pinfall. Sonya, Baszler and Zoey stood tall in the ring after the match.

Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri were talking backstage when Chad Gable came in and told them how he was going to confront Bo Dallas and it would be good to have his crew with him. They told Gable that they were actually talking about supporting Xavier Woods until Kofi was out.

Pat McAfee and Micahel Cole talked about The Miz’s crusade at a celebrity golf tournament which also included Travis and Jason Kelce.

Dominik Mysterio went to tell Rhea Ripley that he had a match against Jey Uso after he brought up Rhea’s name. She tells Dominik if he was stupid. Dominik says he would get it canceled. Rhea then asked if he was a coward. Dominik replied that he just wanted to show everyone that she was still his Mami and she belonged to him. Rhea got offended and walked off. Carlito quipped in saying things got worse.

Adam Pearce was out in the ring. He brought out Drew McIntyre. Pearce asked Drew how desperately he wanted to have this match and was ready to do business. Drew said nobody was as desperate as him for this match, but he wanted to ask the crowd about it. The crowd cheered loudly before starting a CM Punk chant. Pearce said he was ready to set up the match, but he wanted to apologize to two referees he hit earlier. Drew replied that it should be water under the bridge and they should move on. Pearce insisted that Drew apologized to them. Drew refused to apologize claiming that he got screwed by them and it all happened under Pearce’s watch. Drew went on a rant. Pearce cut him off and said he was still suspended. Drew approached Pearce in anger and shoved away the two referees when they tried to get in his way. He was about to hit Pearce when Seth Rollins ran out to attack him. Drew rolled out to the floor where security told him to leave. Rollins got serenaded by the crowd.

We got the clip of how the Wyatt Sicks VHS tape was left at Pat McAfee show. We cut to the footage from the tape which featured “The Ramblin’ Rabbit” Erick Rowan. Rowan said last few years were tough, but then he lost a brother. He was then handed the sheep mask and asked how it felt. He replied that he felt like a beacon of hope and purpose to help others like him.

Jey Uso defeated Dominik Mysterio in a singles match. Jey hit a hip attack to set up the Usos Splash but Liv Morgan pulled Dominik out. Dominik tried to get away from Liv but Jey knocked him off the apron after which Liv got on top of him. Rhea Ripley came out for Liv who ran into the crowd. Rhea then told Dominik to finish the match. Jey hit a spear and a splash to get the pinfall.

Backstage, Damian Priest caught up with Dominik to say that a loss in front of Mami was tough. Rhea then showed up and told Dominik that she did not belong to anyone. Rhea then handed Dominik a black rose and said, “but, Dominik belonged to me.”

Chad Gable came out to the ring. He said he had cracked the biggest mystery ever in WWE history and revealed that Bo Dallas is Uncle Howdy. He called out Dallas. Dallas came out without any music. The Creed Brothers attacked Dallas from behind. Gable joined them in beating him up. Gable and The Creed Brothers posed in the ring when Dallas started laughing. Gable got nervous. Wyatt’s music hit and The Wyatt Sicks appeared on the stage. They started to make their way into the ring. Gable sneaked out. The Creeds also did the same. Dallas got up and stood witth The Wyatt Sicks in the ring.

Sami Zayn vs Ilja Dragunov match for Intercontinental Championship ended in a double disqualification. After a hard hitting match between them, the duo was fighting on the floor when Bron Breakker came out to attack them. Breakker first hit a spear on Ilja when Sami moved out of the way. Sami and Breakker got into the ring where Breakker hit Sami also with a spear. He stood tall to close the show.
