MJF Introduces New Title, AEW All In Rematch Set vs Will Ospreay

MJF and Will Ospreay will clash in a rematch at AEW All In 2024 event for the newly introduced AEW American Championship.
MJF defeated Ospreay in a match which nearly went the time limit of 60 minutes last week on Dynamite to win AEW International Championship. The win came after MJF hit Ospreay with Dynamite Diamond ring to get the pinfall.
On this week’s Blood & Guts Dynamite special, MJF unveiled a new title to replace the International title, which will be called AEW American Championship. He also went on to mock Ospreay, calling him a coward for hesitating to hit Tiger Driver 91 on him during their match last week.
Ospreay ran out to attack MJF, but he ran away. Ospreay then announced that they would clash in a rematch at All In event next month for the title. This is just the third match to be made official for the show after World title and Women’s title matches.
This is the second time that AEW American title has been renamed in AEW. Upon its introduction, it was called AEW All-Atlantic Championship. During Orange Cassidy’s title reign, the name was changed to International Championship. MJF is the seventh wrestler to hold this title.
