Welcome to the live results blog for WWE RAW April 1, 2024 episode, which is the go-home RAW episode before WrestleMania 40. The Rock and Roman Reigns are set to feature together on RAW for the first time. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will definitely be waiting for them, especially after Rock’s beatdown on Cody last week.
Sami Zayn has a rematch set up against Bronson Reed. Judgment Day will face DIY & New Day in an eight-man tag team match. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell are scheduled to face Ivy Nile & Maxxine Dupri in a tag team match. Tune in below for the live updates and results from WWE RAW April 1, 2024 episode.

We get a video package to recap how The Rock made Cody Rhodes bleed last week.
The Rock is Here!
The Rock makes his entrance and recaps how he made that boy bleed into tears for Mama Rhodes. He talked about how he whispered to Cody that he would bleed that night, but the Cody Crybabies were not ok with that. He asked if there were any Cody crybabies in the arena tonight. Huge boos for The Rock for this line. The Rock then took us to footage with some children reacting to his beatdown on Cody. The Rock says that he is a 3-time dad himself, but he wants these children to listen, “there are times in life when we got to do what we got to do”. The Rock said that Cody disrespected his family, so, he will beat Cody over and over again. The Rock said professional wrestling is cool right not with ratings skyrocketing and tonight, RAW has created history with the highest gate for WWE in Brooklyn.
The Rock then says that he did not come alone. Roman Reigns’ music hit and he makes his entrance with Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa. Roman asks Brooklyn to acknowledge him. They do. He refers to his A&E documentary to repeat that Family comes above all, and he came to RAW to acknowledge his family. The crowd starts chanting, “Yeet”. Roman says, “No Yeet”, and he will leave if they do not shut up. He thanks The Rock since this is going to be the easiest WrestleMania of his life. He claims that they will smash Cody & Seth on Saturday and then they will have their way with Cody on Sunday. Roman then praised The Rock for going beyond and beat up Cody.
Seth Rollins’ music interrupts Roman. Everyone in the ring starts to look towards the stage, but Rollins arrives through the crowd like Shield days. He stands in the middle of the stairs as he starts speaking. He says if they thought he will come to the ring after what they did to Cody last week, they are big idiots. Rollins says he is ready to fight and he is ready to fight tonight. The biggest RAW tonight deserves the biggest main event. He asks them to put their money where their mouth is. He proposes him facing The Rock. But, he does not think DJ has got the balls. Rollins then adds that he will be happy to fight Roman. He leaves the decision of his opponent on Rock and Roman, and they can even choose the stipulation.
The Rock insults Rollins but refuses to fight him before saying they always got a plan. The camera zooms to Solo Sikoa who has a mic now. Solo says, “Yo Seth, you are not fighting The Tribal Chief tonight. You are not fighting The Final Boss. You are fighting me.” Rollins says Solo has the biggest bag tonight and he is ready to fight him. The Rock then adds that it will be Bloodline rules match.
We see a recap of Becky Lynch interrupting Rhea Ripley’s interview with Ariel Helwano on the MMA Hour. Becky is backstage for comments and she says she is here to finish what she started tonight and will be out in the ring if Rhea cares to face her.
Judgment Day(Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) vs New Day(Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) & DIY(Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa)
New Day and DIY starts the fight on the front foot. Quick tags see them take down members of Judgment Day one-by-one. Priest finally hit Ciampa with a lariat to turn the tide. He knocks Woods down as he counters his dive. Priest hit The Razor’s Edge on Ciampa to get the pinfall. Judgment Day defeats DIY & New Day.
We cut to Solo Sikoa backstage who is staring in abyss. Behind him, Roman Reigns tells The Rock that Solo is ready. The Rock agrees. Roman asks if The Rock got this on lock as he will go and write “The Wiseman speech”. The Rock hugs him as Roman leaves. Paul Heyman clarifies that it is Roman Reigns who is going to induct him to the WWE Hall of Fame.
We now cut to Sami Zayn’s training session with Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable. Gable is putting Sami through the rounds. Sami fights submission from 3 guys in the ring. Then, Gable himself catches Sami with a choke. Sami gets angry at Gable and asks him if he thinks he is not good enough. Gable forces Sami to agree that he is afraid of failing and letting his loves ones down. Gable tells Sami that he told him last week that he could not beat Gunther as it was what Sami needed to hear. Sami’s training session restarts.
Judgment Day are in their locker room where Legado Del Fantasma come in. Damian Priest gets angry on Dominik for choosing to team up with Escobar at WrestleMania to fight his father again. Priest leaves the room angry. Dominik asks Rhea Ripley to talk to Priest to not be angry on him. Rhea says Dominik has to work on his communication with them.
Sami Zayn vs Bronson Reed
Reed pushes Sami away after they lock up and shows off. Sami counters to send him into the corner but Reed tackles him back quickly. Reed hits a senton before Sami catches him off guard with a pin attempt. Reed cuts off Sami with a Thesz press. Sami fights back to send Reed to the floor and hits him with a crossbody. He attempts another crossbody but Reed catches him this time to hit a running powerslam for a two-count. Sami hits elbows from the second rope. Reed hits him with an Urinage and an elbow to the chest to get another two-count. Sami counters by hitting Reed with a sunset flip powerbomb to get a two-count himself. He tries to get Reed in fireman’s carry but fails to pick him up. Reed hits a Death Valley Driver to take us to a break.
Sami hits tornado DDT as we return. Reed counters exploder with a suplex. He goes for Tsunami, but Sami meets him on the top rope and tries to hit an exploder from there. Reed knocks him off but Sami avoids Tsunami. Gunther has pulled Chad Gable out on the floor after beating him up. Sami runs to the stage to check on Gable. Gunther kicks Sami out of nowhere. The match ends in a no-contest.
Gunther beats up Sami on the stage for a while before posing on top of him. Gunther then uses his title belt to run Sami once more.
Backstage, Lil Wayne is hanging out with “Main Event” Jey Uso who invites him to attend WrestleMania this weekend to see him whoop his brother. Lil Wayne says he will be there for the world premiere of his new single at the show.
Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell vs Ivy Nile & Maxxine Dupri
Ivy starts strong but Candice takes over control once Maxxine gets into the ring. Maxxine tries to catch Candice with a roll-up but only gets a two-count. Candice beats up Maxxine some more before Maxxine escapes to tag in Ivy. Indi comes in from the other side, but it is Ivy who hits quick moves. Candice pushes Ivy off the top rope. Indi is not happy with this act. Maxxine tags in and pushes Indi into Candice on the apron. Maxxine then got Indi into a cradle to get the pinfall. Maxxine Dupri & Ivy Nile defeat Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell.
After the match, Candice screams at Indi in disgust.
Backstage, Jey Uso comes to see Seth Rollins. Jey tells Seth that he has got Seth’s back like Seth was there for him last week.
Drew McIntyre is in a church for an eulogy setting. He starts his eulogy with, “See in my eyes, what do you see – CM Punk has no match at WrestleMania”. He then takes shots at Seth Rollins for having thin skin and compares him to Jared Leto’s Joker.
Ivar vs Ricochet
Ricochet makes quick moves to start the match. He hits a hurricanrana to send Ivar to the floor before Ivar dodges his suicide dive. Back from a break, Ivar seems to be in control. Ricochet avoids a suplex and lands on his feet. Ivar counters again and hits a crossbody on the floor against the apron. Ricochet starts to fight back in the ring and goes on a streak with his acrobatic moves. Ivar runs him over with a spinning leg lariat. He hits a double underhook slam but Ricochet kicks out. Ricochet avoids a hip attack in the corner. More quick action before Ivar counters a springboard DDT into a slam. Ivar misses a moonsault. Ricochet catches Ivar’s corner splash to hit a fallaway slam. Ricochet hits 630-splash to get the pinfall. Ricochet defeated Ivar.
Legado Del Fantasma are still in Judgment Day’s locker room. Damian Priest gets angry over Ricochet still not handled. JD McDonagh says he is in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal and he will deal with Ricochet there. Dominik Mysterio says if JD does not get the job done, he has a guy for the job. Andrade comes in. They talk a bit before Rhea Ripley says she has to go and deal with Becky.
Becky Lynch gets into the ring and calls out Rhea Ripley to come out as she wants to fight. Adam Pearce comes out instead with security and tells Becky that he can’t jeopardize one of the biggest matches at WrestleMania. Rhea Ripley comes out and runs past security despite Pearce trying to hold her back. Becky and Rhea brawl shortly before security gets involved and separate them.
Dakota Kai leads the promo with all of the Damage CTRL backstage. She claims that Damage CTRL will dominate at WrestleMania.
Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley continue to brawl backstage after the break. The security and Adam Pearce try to keep them apart. Dominik Mysterio finally drags Rhea away.
Damage CTRL(Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane & Asuka) vs Tegan Nox, Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark
Damage CTRL attack their opponents to kick off the match. They take Nox under control with quick tags. Shayna and Zoey had to come in to stop a triple team attack. They hit a triple tandem suplex and running knees before taking the action to the outside as we head to a break.
Zoey gets a tag and keeps up with the attack on The Kabuki Warriors. Nox gets the tag and continues with the good work. Asuka has to break a pin on Dakota after a running senton from Nox. Shayna became the legal woman for her team and puts Asuka in a Kirifuda Clutch. Kairi pulls her ankle to help Asuka escape the choke. Shayna runs into Zoey’s boot as she tries to fight Kairi. Dakota kicks Zoey to counter a dive off the top. Nox rolls up Dakota to catch her by surprise but only manages a two-count. Dakota avoids a running senton and hits a kick. Asuka holds Nox for Kairi to hit In-Sane Elbow for the pinfall win. Damage CTRL defeated Tegan Nox, Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark.
Back from the break, we see the complete card for Wrestlemania divided by night 1 and night 2. Seth Rollins is in process of walking out as he gets interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Seth says he has a Plan B if The Bloodline interferes. Drew McIntyre is sitting on production crates. Seth tells him that he is still alive as he goes out.
Seth Rollins vs Solo Sikoa – Bloodline Rules match
Seth starts with punches to send him out and hits a suicide dive. Seth dodges Solo’s tackle to send him crashing into the ring steps. Solo counters a Pedigree and sends Rollins’ on the announce desk. Seth hits a jawbreaker before tossing several chairs on his face. He hits a DDT on top of a chair. Rollins sets up a table. Solo tries to put him through the table but Rollins escapes to hit a couple of superkicks. Seth goes on the top where Solo picks him up and crashes him through the table with a Samoan Drop to take us to a break.
After the break, Solo misses Rollins on the steel steps. He sets up another table before Solo tries to put him through it. Rollins slips out and hits a powerbomb through the table. Seth hits the stomp but Solo slips out of the ring. Jimmy Uso hits Seth with superkicks. Jey Uso’s music hits and Jimmy meets him on the stage. They brawl to the back. Jey is throw back to the stage by the Rock. The Rock throws Jey to the back and heads into the ring.
Seth smiles at The Rock as he gets into the ring. Cody Rhodes’ music hits and he runs down to the ring. He beats up The Rock for a while. Seth and Cody clear the announce table. Roman Reigns appears and pulls Rhodes. He throws Rollins into the ring post and takes him into the ring to hit a Superman punch. The Rock throws Cody into the ring and Roman spears him. The Rock has a weight belt with and he whips it on Cody’s back first. He hands it to Roman who whips on Rollins and Rhodes’ spine one by one. Solo comes into the ring and help Roman and Rock beat up some Cody & Rollins some more. Roman then holds up his title belt while The Rock holds up Cody’s weight belt as the show goes off the air.
