WWE RAW episode of July 17, 2023, will be a key episode on the road to SummerSlam 2023 PLE, and to will feature Brock Lesnar coming back to answer to Cody Rhodes’ challenge.
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn will face Judgment Day in a tag team match. Raquel Rodriquez & Liv Morgan defends Women’s Tag Team Championship. Brock Lesnar returns to answer Cody Rhodes’ challenge
Cody Rhodes has been adamant that he wants to face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. He has been able to get better off Lesnar the last time they came face-to-face and hit him with a Cody Cutter. Lesnar returns to RAW this week once again to answer to Cody’s challenge. How will this face-off go? Does Cody has some surprise waiting for Lesnar?
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs Finn Balor & Damian Priest
Judgment Day trio were able to beat the 3 champions in Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins last week in a trios match. Finn Balor and Damian Priest will now face Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a non-title tag team match. A win here might clear the way for them toward a tag team title shot for them. Will it be the case though? Will Sami and Owens lose for the second week in a row?
Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez(c) vs Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville – Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green became the #1 contender for Women’s Tag Team Championship by winning a gauntlet match two weeks back. They will get their title shot this week on RAW. Will they be able to prove to be a threat to champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez?

Alpha Academy(Chad Gable & Otis) vs Viking Raiders(Erik & Ivar) – Viking Rules Match
Alpha Academy and The Viking Raiders will take their rivalry to the next level with a Viking Rules match. The match was set after the Vikings Raiders interrupted Maxxine Dupri’s Graduation Ceremony last week. Two sides have been engaged in matches and brawls over the last few weeks. The Viking Rules match is expected to be a tornado tag team match, along with some special Viking equipment. Will it prove to be an advantage for The Viking Raiders?
Gunther vs Matt Riddle – Imperium Banned from Ringside
Matt Riddle teamed up with Drew McIntyre last week to beat Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. Buoyed by this win, he asked for a non-title match against Gunther. McIntyre pointed out that he was not able on RAW this week and suggested Riddle should push the match to next week. But, Riddle was one step ahead and already got Imperium banned. Will he be able to beat Gunther without outside distractions?
