WWE NXT Results March 19, 2024, Updates, Winners
WWE NXT episode of March 19, 2024, featured a singles match between Roxanne Perez and Tatum Paxley to open. Two qualifier matches for #1 contender for tag team title match also took place alongside Trick Williams facing Noam Dar in the main event. The build-up for NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 also continued. RESULTS & UPDATES
Roxanne Perez defeated Tatum Paxley in a singles match.
After the match, Perez cut a promo demanding NXT General Manager Ava to gift her the NXT Women’s Championship. Lyra Valkyria came out and attacked Perez. Paxley tried to help Lyra, but Perez pushed Lyra onto Paxley before putting Lyra in a Crossface and specially stretched her left arm.
Meta Four’s Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson were talking backstage when they get interrupted by Alpha Academy (Otis, Tozawa & Maxxine Dupri). Otis said he was jealous of Trick Williams for kissing Legend last week. Legend and Jackson got creeped out and left the room.
Lyra Valkyria met Ava and demanded to make a match between her and Roxanne Perez for NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver. Ava approved the match.
Josh Briggs appeared ringside and called out NXT North American Champion Oba Femi for taking out Brooks Jensen last week. Femi appeared and admitted that he relished by pushing a man to the edge. Briggs challenged Femi to a North American title match. Femi replied that Briggs could not say he did not warn him. DIJAK interrupted them and told Briggs to get lost. More words were exchanged before they started brawling. Shawn Spears was watching the segment backstage. Joe Gacy was watching Spears from behind.
Axiom & Nathan Frazer defeated No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey & Myles Borne) in qualifier for Triple Threat Tag Team #1 contender match.
Backstage, Von Wagner & Mr. Stone were arguing over Wagner carrying out Stone after his match. Wagner pointed out how Lexis King kept dropping Stone on his neck.
NXT Tag Team Champions The Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin) were interviewed backstage when they were interrupted by Alpha Academy (Maxxine Dupri, Otis & Tozawa). Otis & Tozawa demanded a title shot. Breakker gave them the title shot, but Corbin said they would regret it.
Sol Ruca defeated Brinley Reece (w/ Malik Blade & Edris Enofe).
Blair Davenport attacked Ruca after the match and hit Kamigoye.
Arianna Grace interrupted Gigi Dolin & Wren Sinclair backstage as she justified an “accidental” low blow. Grace named Dolin “Ms. NXT In Training” as she would try to find her “inner lad”.
Ridge Holland cut promo from his house about losing to Shawn Spears. He admitted that he needed to become what everyone wanted him to be.
The Family (Tony D’Angelo, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Adrianna Rizzo & Luca Crucifino) came to the ring and talked aboutTonny’ss match against Dragunov at NXT Stand & Deliver. Crucifino pledged his loyalty to The D’Angelo Family. Tony then said that he was the one man who broke the unbreakable and would break Dragunov also. Dragunov appeared on screen. Tony replied that that Stacks should address the issues with Dragunov first. Tony also warned Dragunov it would be his funeral at Stand & Deliver if he did one bad move.
Thea Hail met with Riley Osborne backstage, asking him if they could still be friends after all that went down. Osborne accepted the apology.
Drew Gulak(c) defeated Riley Osborne(W/ Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, Thea Hail, Jacy Jayne & Jasmyn Nyx) in British Round Rules match in round 4 by 2-1 score to retain NXT Heritage Cup. Osborne was settig up for a Superplex on Gulak, but Nyx pulled Osborne’s foot to trip him. Gulak hit a splash from the top to get the second fall.
Brooks Jensen left the arena saying he was done with everything in NXT. Fallon Henley tried to stop him, but Jensen said he needed to find his way. Kelani Jordan came in to meet Henley and said she wanted to attack Kiana James & Izzi Dame.
Ava caught up with Thea Hail backstage and told her about her match against Jasmyn Nyx next week. Ava then told Duke Hudson that he would have a match next week and if he wins, he may get integrated in the North American Title picture.
The Good Brothers(Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) defeated Hank Walker & Tank Ledger in qualifier for Triple Threat Tag Team #1 contender match.
Trick Williams was interviewed backstage about his match against Noam Dar. He was told that Carmelo Hayes was in the building. Williams said he hoped Hayes would keep a close eye on his match.
Roxanne Perez was interviewed in the parking lot and said that if Lyra Valkyria wouldn’t give her the title, she would rip it off her hands.
Kiana James & Izzi Dame met with Jacy Jayne & Jasmyn Nyx and they all started talking trash about Thea Hail. Fallon Henley & Kelani Jordan attacked Dame & James.
Trick Williams defeated Noam Dar (w/ Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend & Oro Mensah).
After the match, an army of security guards confronted Williams. Carmelo Hayes was disguised as one of the guards and attacked Williams from behind. Hayes stood tall to end the broadcast.
