WWE NXT episode of February 20, 2024, was taped one week in advance last week. Here are the complete results and spoilers from the show. We will add more backstage updates and announcements as the show goes on.
RESULTS & UPDATES
Oba Femi defeated Lexis King to retain North American Championship. Femi hit a pop-up powerbomb to get the pinfall. Mr. Stone showed up during the match and was attacked by King.
Jacy Jayne, Thea Hail & Jade Gentile were backstage talking about Thea’s date with Riley Osbourne. Arianna Grace interrupted them before Jayne told her to get out of their business.
Lyra Valkyria told Tatum Paxley to stay backstage during her match. Paxley was not happy with the request but Valkyria said that she would have a surprise for Paxley if she stayed away.
NXT Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin had a segment in the ring with the Dusty Cup. Chase University’s Andre Chase & Duke Hudson came out and said that the previous champions owed them a rematch so they want a shot at the new titleholders. Nathan Frazer & Axiom also came out asking for a title shot. General Manager Ava then announced a #1 contender match.
Roxanne Perez was interviewed backstage where she said that she was tired of getting her title shots taken away and demanded another one for the title she never lost.
A vignette aired that read: “Men deny their truth, I will be the mirror of it”.
Roxanne Perez defeated Wren Sinclair in a singles match via submission with a crossface.
The Meta Four were interrupted by No Quarter Catch Crew backstage to challenge Noam Dar for a singles match. Dar accepted the challenge.
Josh Briggs defeated Brooks Jensen in a singles match via pinfall after hitting a couple of lariats.
DIJAK had Joe Gacy in an interrogation room with Gacy in a straight jacket. Luca Crucifino confronted DIJAK and that it may be illegal and world does not work like that. Gacy shouted at them, “This isn’t over”.
Carmelo Hayes was back in his usual barbershop where he reflected on his attack on Williams. He said that he wanted to lift Williams with him, but Williams got too big for his bridges. He also called out Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship.
Jacy Jayne defeated Arianna Grace via pinfall after hitting a discus forearm. Chase U students Thea Hail & Jazmyn Nix were ringside during the match. Jayne asked them to attack Grace, but Thea hesitated. Nix although hit Grace with a forearm before Jayne got the finish.
The Family were backstage talking about their losses. Tony D’Angelo said that they had been playing small ball and promised to lead the family in a new direction and prove that he was The Don of NXT.
Andre Chase & Duke Hudson defeated Nathan Frazer & Axiom via pinfall to become the #1 contender for NXT Tag Team Championship. After the match, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows attacked both teams.
Ilja Dragunov featured in a vignette where he called out Carmelo Hayes for a match for something much bigger than just the NXT Title.
Thea Hail & Fallon Henley were backstage talking about how things were going hayward for them recently.
Lash Legend defeated Kelani Jordan in a singles match via pinfall after a distraction from Jakara Jackson to hit a powerbomb. Kiana James & Izzi Dame came out to attack Jordan, but she escaped.
Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows put the entire tag team division on notice in an interview backstage.
Lyra Valkyria vs Shotzi NXT Women’s Championship match was stopped due to Shotzi’s injury. Ava then came out and announced an open challenge. Lash Legend answered the challenge.
Lyra Valkria defeated Lash Legend via pinfall to retain her NXT Women’s Championship after a top rope splash.
