WWE has announced 5 matches for December 26, 2023, episode of NXT, including NXT Underground match and NXT Heritage Cup match.

Eddy Thorpe and Dijak will face each other at December 26 episode of NXT in an Underground match. Eddy Thorpe and Dijak are aiming to conclude their extended rivalry, which has spanned several months.

In August, Dijak secured victories over Thorpe twice, but Thorpe retaliated by winning in a Strap match in September. Despite this, their conflict continued as Thorpe subsequently interfered, preventing Dijak from seizing the chance to claim victory in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline.

They faced off once more on December 12 episode of NXT, but the match abruptly concluded with a disqualification after Dijak utilized a broken turnbuckle, leading to bloodshed.

In an effort to resolve their ongoing conflict, they are scheduled to compete in the second NXT Underground match, where victory is achieved through either a knockout or submission. Thorpe emerged victorious in the inaugural match of NXT Underground match by defeating Damon Kemp back in June.

NXT Heritage cup match is also set for the next week. Noam Dar has consented to put his NXT Heritage Cup on the line against Josh Briggs, following Briggs’ pinning Dar in a six-person tag match that took place on December 12 episode of NXT.

Cora Jade is also scheduled to compete in the upcoming episode of NXT against Karmen Petrovic. This match was announced due to an incident during the December 19 episode of NXT, where Jade took Petrovic’s locker room.

Next week on NXT, the men’s Breakout tournament will also progress with the semi-final matches. The matchups feature Oba Femi against Tavion Heights and Lexis King against Riley Osborne. The winners of these bouts will subsequently face each other in the tournament final.

December 26, 2023, episode of NXT will be live from WWE Performance Center, Orlando, Florida, US. Below is the announced line-up for the show:
