WWE MSG New York Live Event Results December 26, 2023
WWE is holding a house show/live event on December 26, 2023, at Madison Square Garden in New York City which has been an yearly tradition for a while. The show will features CM Punk’s first match in WWE in 10 years as he faces Dominik Mysterio.
Other than this, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is also announced. Becky Lynch will face Zoey Stark. Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and other members of Judgment Day are expected to be in action. Becky Lynch defeated Zoey Stark via pinfall after hitting Manhandle Slam.
Kofi Kingston defeated Ludwig Kaiser via pinfall after hitting Trouble in Paradise.
Katana Chance & Kayden Carter(c) defeated Chelsea Green & Piper Niven to retain WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship via pinfall on Piper after a double team finisher.
Omos defeated R-Truth in a squash match via pinfall after hitting a chokeslam.
Rhea Ripley defeated Shayna Baszler & Ivy Nile in a triple threat match to retain Women’s World Championship. Rhea got the pin over Shayna via a roll-up.
Judgment Day(Finn Balor & Damian Priest)(c) defeated Sami Zayn & Jey Uso to retain Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Sami was the one pinned to lose after an interference from JD McDonagh. Sami and Jey received a standing ovation from the crowd after the match.
CM Punk defeated Dominik Mysterio via pinfall after hitting GTS. Punk also put Dominik during the match once. He kept on teasing Rhea Ripley who was on the floor in Dominik’s corner.
CM Punk cut a promo after his match saying he is fortunate for having greatest fans. He is here to finish what he started. He will win the Royal Rumble and main event Wrestlemania, and that would not be finishing his story, but just getting started.
Ricochet defeated Bronson Reed via pinfall after hitting 630 splash.
Cody Rhodes defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bull Rope Match via pinfall after hitting Crossrhodes.
Seth Rollins(c) defeated Drew McIntyre to retain World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins cut a promo to give tribute to Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee.
