WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 Live Results: Lashley vs McIntyre, Bianca vs Bayley

WWE will present the Hell in a Cell 2021 PPV tonight on 20 June 2021 from Yuengling Center in Tampa, Fl. Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre will battle it out in the centerpiece Hell in a Cell match for WWE Championship. The other cage match will be the SmackDown Women’s Championship bout between Bianca Belair and Bayley.

RAW Women’s title match will see Rhea Ripley defending the title against Charlotte Flair. Other than this, we are getting two rematches from WrestleMania 37 in Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins vs Cesaro. Alexa Bliss vs Shanya Baszler match rounds up the card which is expected to be an odd but intruiging match.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 Pre-Show

Kayla Braxton opens the pre-show with the usual panel of Jerry “The King” Lawler, John Bradshaw Layfield and Peter Rosenberg. Kayla takes us through the match card. Natalya vs Mandy Rose is announced for the pre-show. The panel starts discussing Bianca vs Bayley match after a vignette. Sonya Deville joins the panel to discuss the match. They discuss other matches next.

Natalya vs Mandy Rose

Mandy starts with a takedown and chokes Natalya using her leg. Natalya puts on the headlock before Mandy once again gets the upper hand. Natalya puts on another headlock now and Mandy takes her down again. A bit of back and forth as Mandy tries to take a quick pin. Natalya tries to put on an armbar but Mandy goes to the ropes right away. The referee calls for the bell and Mandy decks Natalya to take control.

Mandy with a snapmare takedown now. Mandy hits a big right hand and gets a two-count. Natalya unloads on her. Mandy puts on a Guillotine choke on the floor. Natalya powers out and hits a suplex. Mandy unloads on her again. Mandy puts on a shoulder stretch. Natalya manages to counter it. Mandy misses in the corner and Natalya hits a rope-assisted side suplex. Natalya with a quick stomp and a dropkick for a two-count.

Mandy hits the missile dropkick after fighting back on the top. Mandy gets a two-count with a cradle. Natalya hits a discus clothesline for another pin attempt. Mandy was able to get two-count with a backslide pin. Mandy hits a big kick for another two-count. Natalya puts on an armbar now and Mandy gets to the ropes to break it. Back and forth action before Natalya puts on the sharpshooter to get the submission win.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 Main Show

The show opens with a special video package. Bianca Belair vs Bayley match will open the show. We get the package for the match before both women enter.

Bianca Belair(c) vs Bayley – Hell in a Cell Match for WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

The cage is locked and the bell rings. Bayley has some words for Bianca to start. Bianca hits back-to-back body slams and a clothesline. Bayley slips to the ringside for a breather. Bayley slams her in the ropes as Bianca tries to pull her back in. Bayley brings out some steel chairs. Bayley swings the chair and Bianca ducks and rolls up Bayley for a two count. Bianca uses her braid and Bayley uses the chair to defend herself. Bianca hits another clothesline for a two-count. Bianca with a shoulder tackle in the corner before she puts Bayley on the top.

Bayley fights back and throws Bianca. Bianca lands on her feet and comes back. Bayley slams her face into the post and then her shoulder into the post. Bayley is working on the arm and shoulder with some joint manipulation. Bayley slams Bianca into the turnbuckle for a two-count. She brings in the steel steps into the ring. Bianca trips her on the steps but Bayley quickly runs her over with a knee strike to the jaw. Bayley ties Bianca’s braids to the bottom rope. She goes for a running knee strike but Bianca sidesteps and unties her hair.

Bianca throws the steel steps at Bayley which Bayley somehow ducks. Bianca hits a big dropkick to send her into the steel walls. Bayley bites Bianca and takes over control. Bayley brings out two kendo sticks taped together and slams Bianca with them. Bayley throws her into the cage with a sunset flip powerbomb. Bayley sets up double kendo sticks in between the apron and the steel cage. Bianca swings at her with a kendo stick. Bayley ducks and runs around to avoid it. Bianca hits a spinebuster through the kendo sticks and takes Bayley into the ring quickly. Bayley kicks out at two-count though.

Bianca slams Bayley with a steel chair. Bayley gets her boot up as Bianca charges with the steel chair. She uses the chair to work on the arm. Bayley now ties the braid with the steel chair. Bianca decks her and pulls out the chair as Bayley charges at her. Bianca ties her braids to Bayley and uses it to drag her into tackles. Bianca takes her to the floor and slams her into the steel walls a few times. Bayley is now begging to the referee to open the cage and let her leave. Bianca laughs at Bayley before slamming her face a few times against the cell.

Bayley turns it around as Bianca tries to use a ladder. Bianca’s face is slammed to the ladder. Bayley uses the ladder to work on Bianca’s arm and traps her in between the ladder. Bianca manages to miss a knee strike and Bayley takes the burnt of it on her knees. Bianca gets a two-count. Bayley uses the ropes to leverage for the pin but Bianca kicks out. Bianca avoids a singles leg takedown and sends Bayley into the corner. Bianca misses a top rope senton but hits a running senton on the ladder and follows it with KOD on the ladder to get the win.

Winner – Bianca Beliar

After the match, Bianca stands tall over Bayley as she celebrates with the title. Bianca gets an interview at Gorilla. She says Hell in a Cell is brutal but she has put Bayley in her place.

We see WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP backstage, partying with her ladies.

We cut to Alexa Bliss on her swing. She says Lilly is still on a time-out. She takes some shots at Shayna Baszler.

Seth Rollins vs Cesaro

We get the video package for the match. Cesaro makes his entrance. Rollins attacks him on the ramp itself. They brawl for a while around the ring before getting into the ring. The referee separates them and they get ready for the match. Cesaro hits a body slam as the bell rings. They unload on each other. Cesaro hits a back body drop and gives out a big roar. Cesaro runs down Rollins with a big boot to drop him from the apron. On the floor, Cesaro slams Rollins into the barricade before hitting a European uppercut.

Back to the ring, Cesaro hits a dropkick from the top. Cesaro continues to beat up Rollins with big blows. Cesaro slams his face into the turnbuckle. Cesaro with more uppercuts and punches in the corner. Rollins drives him into the turnbuckle. Cesaro tries to fight back but Seth rakes his eyes. Cesaro swings blindly but Rollins hits him with a DDT. Seth knees him against the ropes. Rollins hits big punches to Cesaro’s face who is selling an eye injury. Seth with some knees and punches to the ribs. He goes for a suplex but Cesaro counters to hit a suplex of his own.

Rollins sends Cesaro to the floor with a back body drop. Rollins hits the knee drop from the apron. Rollins hits a springboard knee as they get back to the ring. Rollins hits some big punches again. Cesaro catches him with an uppercut. Back and forth action continues.

Rollins goes for the stomp but Cesaro catches him with a body slam. They counter each other. Rollins sends him into the turnbuckle and hits a step-up enziguiri. Rollins gets another two-count with a shot at the back of the neck. Rollins gets frustrated and starts to stomp on Cesaro. Rollins hits Falcon Arrow and kick to the back of the head for a near fall. Rollins sets up for the stomp but changes to a superkick. Cesaro takes him down with a lariat.

Both men are down now. Cesaro gets back to his feet and puts Rollins in the swing. Cesaro puts on the sharpshooter and goes to the crossface as Rollins tries to counter. Cesaro puts on another sharpshooter now. Rollins tries to get to the ropes and Cesaro turns to stomp on him. Rollins rolls him up into an inside cradle to steal a pin.

Winner – Seth Rollins

After the bell, Cesaro is disappointed at the loss. Rollins slips out to the floor and starts to celebrate after catching his breath.

Alexa Bliss vs Shayna Baszler(w/ Nia Jax & Reginald)

We get the video package for the match. Shayna gets an interview at Gorilla Position. She asks not to take Lilly’s name and calls it a stupid doll again. Shayna enters with Nia Jax and Reginald. Alexa makes her entrance to Firefly Fun House theme.

The bell rings and Shayna hesitates to engage. Reginald runs a distraction and Shayna hits a clothesline. Baszler attacks in the corner but Alexa is no-selling the attack. Alexa ducks out of the corner and takes out Shayna’s knee. Alexa starts to crawl in the ring like some demon from a horror movie. Bliss with knee strikes and a running senton. Alexa got distracted by Reginald and Nia on the floor. Shayna decks at Alexa at the back. Shayna unloads on Bliss in the corner now. Shayna has taken over the control and uses joint manipulation.

Baszler keeps Alexa on the floor. She slams Alexa’s elbow to the mat and Alexa gets seriously hurt for the first time in this match. Alexa screams in pain for a while. Baszler goes to grab her but Alexa turns it around. Alexa with some attacks after running the ropes.

Alexa with a big knee strike and slams Baszler to the mat. Baszler kicks out of the pin and Alexa starts to throw tantrums. Alexa now keeps eye contact with Nia and puts her in trance. Alexa has started to control Nia now. She forces Nia to slap Reginald as he tries to bring Nia out of the trance. Baszler grabs Alexa from the back in the Kirafuda clutch. Bliss turns it into Sister Avigail. Bliss gets to the top to hit Twisted Bliss and gets the pin.

Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn enters for the match. We get the recap of how this match came out to be. Kevin Owens comes out for the match. The bell rings and Owens starts to unload with punches. The referee separates him from Sami in the corner. Owens with some kicks before he whips Sami hard into the turnbuckle. Owens is having trouble breathing, selling the Nigerian Nail from SmackDown two days back. Owens whips him to the corner once again.

Owens with a double ax handle and standing senton to get a two-count. Sami rolls to the floor and Owens follows him. Owens catches a kick and sends Sami into the barricade. Sami catches him with a knee as they enter back to the ring. Sami kicks at Owens after Owens hits a big chop. Sami hits a clothesline right into Owens’ throat to get a two-count. Owens counters the suplex to toss Sami into the ropes. KO charges in the corner with a clothesline and follows with a cannonball for another two-count.

Sami drops KO on the ropes now. Sami hits a summersault suicide dive as KO moves out to the floor for a breather. KO gets back to the ring and it looks like he has hurt his wrist. The referee checks on it and stops Sami from attacking him. Sami runs him down with a big boot and starts unloading with stomps and punches. Owens kicks at him from the back and Sami fires back in anger. Owens rolls out for a breather. He is selling his wrist injury.

Sami goes to bring him back but Owens comes back by himself and takes down Sami as he gets back to the ring. Owens with punches and a senton. Sami goes to the floor and Owens hits him with a clothesline. KO breaks the referee count. KO goes for the Swanton but Sami gets his knees up. Sami takes him back to the ring and hits blue thunder bomb for a near fall. Sami unloads on the back of Owen’s head. Sami hits more punches in the corner.

Owens fights back and goes for the stunner. Sami counters with a snap dragon suplex to get another near fall. Sami kicks at his face and Owens goes to the floor. Sami follows and KO hits him with a stunner. Sami somehow beats the 10 count from the referee. Both men are on the floor. They trade headbutts and punches. Owens hits a big elbow to get upperhand. Owens is struggling to breathe though. Sami hits a running knee to back of the head and hits the Helluva kick to get the pin.

Winner – Sami Zayn

Sami celebrates his rare PPV win after the bell. Owens is still struggling to breathe in the ring.

Rhea Ripley(c) vs Charlotte Flair – RAW Women’s Championship

Both women enters after the video package. Flair grabs the title belt as the referee was showing it to the camera and throws it at Rhea to start some mind games. Charlotte kicks at Rhea and the referee separates them. The bell rings. Charlotte goes for a roll-up and gets a two-count. Rhea slips out of the ring and she is looking angry. Charlotte kicks her in the mid section as she returns. Rhea comes back with kicks and punches.

Charlotte whips her hard to the corner and Rhea comes back with a big boot. Charlotte trips her as she goes to the top. Charlotte boots her in the corner before putting on a chin lock. Rhea gets to her feet but Charlotte takes her back down with the chin lock on. Charlotte with a big kick now. Charlotte goes for a suplex, Rhea tries for the counter but Charlotte kicks her out of the ring. Flair runs her over with a shin on the floor. Charlotte gets multiple two counts as they come back to the ring. Flair with some knee strikes to the arm. Flair uses the ropes to work on the leg.

Rhea fights back from the corner and hits clotheslines. Rhea drops Charlotte with a head butt and a superkick. Charlotte uses the ropes to damage her leg. Rhea hits a kick to get the control. Back to the ring, Rhea hits a missile dropkick. Rhea puts on a leg-lock submission. Charlotte counters and sends Rhea into the turnbuckle. Flair hits the Natural Selection and Rhea kicks out. Rhea goes for the German suplex but Flair elbows her.

Flair goes for the big boot and Rhea ducks it and hits the German suplex. Flair hits a backbreaker and slams Rhea into the turnbuckle. Charlotte hits a moonsault for a near fall. Flair hits an elbow to get another two-count. Charlotte gets to the top and Rhea rocks her with punches. Rhea hits a superplex to get a two-count. Both women are down after that suplex. They start to brawl as they get back to their feet. Flair misses a tackle in the corner and Rhea hits the riptide. Flair gets her leg to the ropes to break the pin.

Flair rolls to the floor and Rhea follows. Flair sends her into the steel steps and hits a kick on the knee against the step. Rhea is screaming hard. They get back to the ring and Charlotte puts on the figure four. Rhea reaches the ropes and rolls down to the floor. Rhea is enraged due to the pain. She slams Charlotte’s head into the announce table and the referee calls for the disqualification.

Winner – Charlotte Flair(by DQ), Rhea Ripley Retains the Title

After the match, Flair starts the brawl. They get back to the ring and Rhea turns it around to hit Riptide. Rhea goes to the announce table and grabs her title.

Bobby Lashley(c) vs Drew McIntyre – Hell in a Cell Match for WWE Championship

Lashley goes to pull some weapon from underneath the ring but Drew attacks him before he can grab hold of it. Drew rakes Lashley’s face against the steel walls and throws him into the walls a few times. Drew was going to attack him with the steel steps when Lashley hits him with a big boot. Lashley goes for the suplex but McIntyre counters with a suplex to send him into the steel walls again. McIntyre runs Lashley over with the steel steps.

McIntyre slams the stairs to Lashley again. They get back to the ring now. Lashley counters with an elbow as McIntyre was going for the Futureshock DDT. McIntyre hits a big boot and a belly-to-belly suplex. Lashley goes to the floor again and Drew brings out a kendo stick. Drew slams the kendo stick to Lashley’s back. Drew sets up a table. MVP throws in his cane to Lashley and Lashley takes a shot at Drew with that cane. Lashley goes to slam Drew into the cage a few times. Lashley was going for a brainbuster on the steel steps when Drew slammed him into the ring post. Drew hits the White Noise on the steel steps.

Drew brings out another table now. Drew manhandles Lashley to slam him against the steel walls. Lashley takes a cheap shot at Drew’s neck. Lashley whips Drew into the cage but Drew explodes out with a clothesline. Drew slams him into the steps. Drew throws in some steel chairs in the ring. Drew sets up a chair in between the turnbuckle. Drew drops Lashley into a steel chair in the middle of the ring with the reverse Alabama slam. Lashley kicks out at two-count. Drew slams the chair on Lashley’s back.

Lashley counters with an attempt for the Hurt lock as McIntyre was going for another chair shot. Drew hits a spinebuster and a powerbomb to get a near fall. Drew kicks at Lashley as he slipped out to the floor and slams the steel step him. Lashley counters and traps McIntyre in-between step and cage wall. Lashley slams the step again and again to McIntyre’s face. MVP helps out by putting a kendo stick across the cage to trap McIntyre behind it. Lashley takes shots at McIntyre as he was trapped with the kendo stick.

Lashley hits Flatliner on the floor. Back to the ring, Lashley hits another Flatliner on the steel chair now. Another Flatliner into the steel chair. Lashley unloads with a kendo stick. Drew gets hyped and hits Lashley with a head butt. McIntyre swings at him with a steel chair. Lashley sends him into the referee. Drew slams Lashley into a steel chair in the corner and hits Futureshock DDT. The referee is down and McIntyre asks the referee outside to come in. The referee starts to unlock the door.

McIntyre and Lashley continues to fight. Lashley goes for the Hurt lock but McIntyre throws him back. McIntyre hits a spinebuster and a Claymore. The referee comes in and counts for the pin but MVP pulls him out before the three count. Drew grabs MVP now and starts to beat him up. Drew hits MVP with a claymore. MVP rolls out to the floor and Drew goes to grab him. Lashley comes from behind and puts on the Hurt lock. Drew slams him into the steel walls to break the lock but Lashley holds onto it. Drew slams Lashley into the table set up in the corner.

Drew summons some energy to drag Lashley back into the ring now. Drew slams a chair across Lashley’s back. Drew goes to unload on Lashley with the chair now. Drew gets ready for the claymore but Lashley ducks it. Lashley hits a spinebuster which sent Drew through a table on the floor. Lashley gets ready for spear. Drew sidesteps and goes for a backslide pin for a two-count. Drew hits Glasgow kiss and a futureshock DDT. Drew gets ready for the Claymore but MVP grabs his leg. Lashley rolls up McIntyre and gets the pin.

Winner – Bobby Lashley

After the match, Drew is evidently dissapointed as this was his last shot at Lashley’s title. Lashley slips out of the ring and gets his title. MVP joins him in celebrations at the ramp. The show goes off the air Lashley celebrates on the stage and McIntyre watches him from the ring.
