WWE To Announce Year End Awards at Backstage Tonight
WWE has announced that tonight’s WWE Backstage episode on FS1 will feature the 2019 WWE Year-End Awards.
The announcement came during last week’s WWE SmackDown on FOX. The awards will be announced by hosts Renee Young, Christian and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. WWE on FOX Twitter handle asked for the fans to tweet their preferences, but it does not look like fans’ votes will be taken into consideration. Below are the award categories for the year-end awards:
- WWE Superstar of the Year
- WWE Tag-Team of the Year
- WWE Match of the Year
- WWE Moment of the Year
- WWE Event of the Year
- WWE Breakthrough Superstar
Tonight’s WWE Backstage episode will also feature Actor Paul Walter in the promo school segment. Additionally, it was also announced today that WWE celebrity friend Maria Menounos will also be appearing on the show. Although, no current WWE superstar is announced for this week.
WWE has earlier announced the NXT Year-End awards for 2019. The voting line has been open on wwe.com for the voting. The awards will be revealed during the 8 January episode of NXT.
