AEW Worlds End 2023 PPV match card saw Women’s title being added.

AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm will defend the title at the event. She was announced to face the winner of the match between two former champions in Saraya and Riho. The duo clash in a singles match at Dynamite December 20 episode.

Riho defeated Saraya to set up the match against Toni. After the match, Riho and Toni got engaged in a brawl before Mariah May ran over Riho with the title belt.

AEW World Championship match will headline the show with MJF putting the title on the line against Samoa Joe. Joe agreed to team with MJF at Full Gear in ROH Tag Team title match against the Gunns in return for the title shot. The shot was granted as promised and MJF was ready for the match on Dynamite, but Joe asked the match to take place at Worlds End.

The first match to be announced for the PPV was the final of Continental Classic tournament match. The participants of the match will be determined via league phase before the group finals on AEW Dynamite December 27 episode.

The Golden Jets – Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho – earned a shot at AEW Tag Team Championship at Full Gear after a win over the Young Bucks. They had decided to cash in that title shot for this PPV event, but an illness to Kenny Omega has scratched that match from the card.
