Another Update on William Regal AEW Contract’s Situation

William Regal AEW

It seems like William Regal’s time with AEW will finally come to an end this December.

Initially, it was reported that William Regal had signed a three-year deal with AEW after being released from WWE. However, now the new report hints that’s not the situation anymore.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has reported that the talent believes that William Regal’s contract with AEW would expire in December.

The same was also speculated at last week’s WrestleCade event. PWInsider also reported that William Regal is WWE bound especially after the events that took place on the November 30 episode of Dynamite. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now.

William Regal turned on Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear and helped MJF win the AEW World title. However, on last night’s Dynamite, MJF turned on William Regal and hit him with the same brass knuckles on the back of his head and laid him unconscious. Regal was taken backstage on a stretcher and then he was loaded into an ambulance.

William Regal signed with AEW earlier this year in March and formed Blackpool Combat Club by recruiting Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson.

He served as the Director of Talent Development and Head of Global Recruiting at WWE. However, he was released by the promotion in January.
