Tommaso Ciampa Won the Fatal-4-Way to Become New WWE NXT Champion
Tommaso Ciampa won the fatal-4-way match in the main event of tonight’s NXT and became the new WWE NXT champion.
A few days back, Samoa Joe relinquished the NXT championship due to an undisclosed injury. As a result, the match that was supposed to decide the new no. 1 contender for the title crowned the new champion.
Tommaso Ciampa defeated Pete Dunne, LA Knight, and a debutant Von Wagner in the main event. Kyle O’Reilly was attacked backstage, and he never made it to the match, and hence he was replaced by Von Wagner.
Tommaso Ciampa is now a two-time NXT champion. He last won this title in July 2018. However, he had to relinquish this championship in March 2019 due to a neck injury.
Now, Goldie is finally back with Ciampa, and he is very happy to serve the title again that he never lost. Now, it will be quite interesting to see who will be the first challenger to face Tommaso Ciampa for the title.
