Team Hulk Hogan, lead by Roman Reigns, got the win against Team Ric Flair at WWE Crown Jewel 2019.

WWE Hall of Famers- Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair were acting as the coach of their respective teams at Crown Jewel 2019 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The 10 men match started with Shorty G and Nakamura in the ring. Team Hogan took the early advantage until Drew McIntyre from Team Flair took control over Ali.

Team Flair kept Ali in their corner and when Ricochet was tagged in, he was also overpowered after his initial success. After some time, Ricochet fought back in the opponent’s corner and tagged in Roman Reigns, the captain of Team Hogan. Roman ran rampant, taking down all the opponents one by one with his moves set. All 10 members then started getting involved as chaos broke.

Rusev and Lashley, who are involved in a feud over Rusev’s wife Lana, also had a go at each other briefly. The chaos came to cease once Roman Reigns hit a plancha, taking down everyone. As he got back in the ring, Randy Orton hit an RKO for a nearfall. Finally, Team Hogan’s member took out the members of Team Flair and Roman finished the match with a spear on Randy Orton.

The five-on-five tag team match was first announced on the 30 September on Raw during the Miz TV segment. At the time, Ric Flair took issue with Hogan and both men argued on the mic. Universal Champion Seth Rollins was initially named the captain of Team Hogan. But when he was placed in a championship match against The Fiend Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns took his place.
