Roman Reigns vs Rowan Announced for SmackDown Fox Premiere
WWE has announced the rematch between Erick Rowan and Roman Reigns from Clash of Champions at SmackDown’s Fox Premiere on 4 October.
After feuding over the last couple of months, Roman Reigns and Erick Rowan faced off at Clash of Champions 2019 show. Luke Harper returned during the no DQ match and helped Rowan to get away with the win. The Bludgeon Brothers have since gone to dominate Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan in multiple brawls.
Earlier this week, Rowan faced Bryan in an impromptu match at SmackDown and once again Harper helped Rowan to win the match. As the post-match beatdown continued, Roman Reigns helped out Bryan. Later WWE announced that Bludgeon Brothers will face Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell 2019 show.
Prior to their face-off at Hell in a Cell, Rowan and Roman will battle against each other at SmackDown’s 20th Anniversary episode. It is the same episode where Friday Night SmackDown will premiere at FOX network. The current lineup for the show is as follows:
- Friday Night SmackDown Kickoff Show “blue carpet” special at 7:30 PM ET/PT on FOX from Staples Center, Los Angeles
- WWE Champion Kofi Kingston puts his title on the line against Brock Lesnar
- The Four Horsewomen square off – WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley and Sasha Banks in a tag team match
- Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon in a Ladder Match(Loser Leaves WWE)
- Roman Reigns takes on Erick Rowan in a rematch from Clash of Champions
