Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso Announced for Hell in a Cell 2020
WWE has announced the WWE Universal Championship rematch between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 inside the cell structure.
Roman defeated Jey Uso at Clash of Champions 2020 in a brutal match where Roman wanted Jey to acknowledge him as “the Tribal Cheif.” The match ended only after Jimmy Uso pleaded with Roman and threw in the towel.
Last night at SmackDown(2 October 2020), Roman Reigns was supposed to be coronated as the Tribal Cheif(of Samoan Wrestling Family). However, Roman stopped Paul Heyman during his promo since Jey has not yet called him the Tribal Cheif yet.
Roman then warned Jey that he will sanction a rematch at Hell in a Cell but the match will have the highest consequences ever at a match in WWE history. Jey also accepted the challenge and said he is ready for any consequence. WWE made the match official at Talking Smack this morning and adding that it will be a traditional Hell in a Cell match.
Roman Reigns returned at WWE SummerSlam 2020 after a 5-month hiatus and turned heel by attacking The Fiend and Braun Strowman. He immediately became the Universal Champion a week later at Payback 2020 after appointing Paul Heyman as his special counsel. Jey Uso became the no. 1 contender to face Roman at Clash of Champions.
The rematch between them is the first match officially announced for WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 PPV which airs on 25 October. Sasha Banks vs Bayley for WWE SmackDown Women’s title is also expected for the show. Keep following this space & “Hell in a Cell 2020” tag for the latest news for the event.
