Adam Cole and MJF will defend their ROH Tag Team title at WrestleDream 2023 PPV event against the team that became the #1 contender on Rampage tapings this week.

AEW Grand Slam Rampage 2023 special episode was taped at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Wednesday. Spoilers are available here at this link.

The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) became the #1 contenders to challenge Cole and MJF. The team got the title opportunity by defeating the Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy), The Kingdom (Mike Bennett and Matt Taven), and Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor) in a four-way match.

Adam Cole and MJF won the titles in the pre-show of AEW All In 2023 event. They also successfully defended their titles at AEW All Out 2023 PPV event against The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver).

MJF also recently defended his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at AEW Grand Slam 2023 event in Dynamite episode of September 20, 2023.

The Righteous have signed a new contract with AEW just two weeks ago, as revealed by Dutch himself. Apart from Vincent and Dutch, Stu Grayson is also part of the stable.

AEW WrestleDream 2023 PPV event is scheduled for October 1, 2023, at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA. AEW World Tag Team match is also set for the event where FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) will face Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis).
