According to a recent report, AEW is considering adding another pay-per-view event to its schedule in 2023.

As per Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, AEW is in discussions about holding its eighth and final pay-per-view event of the year on Friday, December 29th, 2023. PPV might have been shifted to Friday to avoid clashes with NFL matches that weekend.

As of now, AEW has already completed five pay-per-view events in 2023, and they have two more upcoming events scheduled: WrestleDream on October 1 and AEW Full Gear on November 1, 2023.

Previously, it was reported by Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast that AEW intends to hold 12 PPV events annually starting in 2024 with a streaming deal with HBO MAX. AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view event, WrestleDream, is scheduled for October 1, and there are already three confirmed matches on the card.

Bryan Danielson will face Zack Sabre Jr., Adam Page will clash with Swerve Strickland and FTR will defend their AEW World Tag Team title against Aussie Open.

AEW Full Gear PPV is scheduled for November 18. AEW added two new PPVs already this year in All In and WrestleDream this year. Below is the complete list of the AEW 2023 PPV event list:
