Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns Fixed For WWE Fastlane 2021

Roman Reigns will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan at Fastlane 2021.

Daniel Bryan faced Jey Uso in a steel cage match at SmackDown this week. Bryan was to get the title shot if he defeated Uso, which he managed to do via submission.

Earlier, Daniel Bryan won the Elimination Chamber #1 contender match at Elimination Chamber match. Roman Reigns defend the title against Bryan just after the Elimination Chamber match. Bryan later asked for a rematch at Fastlane.

Bryan faced Uso at SmackDown last week to earn a title shot but Roman Reigns interfered in the match to cause a DQ. Paul Heyman announced another match for Bryan to earn the title shot. Bryan then added the steel cage match stipulation.

This will be second time Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns will face-off at Fastlane event. In 2015, Bryan challenged Roman for this #1 contender status for WWE Championship to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31.

Edge will face the WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 37, be it Roman Reigns or Daniel Bryan.

This is the second match to be added to WWE Fastlane, which airs on 21 March 2021. Earlier, WWE Women’s Tag Team Match was announced with Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler defending the titles against Bianca Belair & WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.
