WWE Royal Rumble 2022 is just one week away, and fans began to speculate which woman will be pointing her finger towards the WrestleMania sign this year after winning the Rumble.
WWE has already announced several big names who will be taking part in the upcoming Women’s Royal Rumble match. This year’s event is quite special as it opens the forbidden door as well.

1. Bayley
In July 2021, Bayley suffered a torn ACL injury, and ever since then, she is out of action. She hasn’t been announced for the Rumble and is expected to recover completely by February end. However, no one will be surprised if Bayley recovered quickly from her injury.
Currently, Bayley is one of the favourites to return and win the Women’s Royal Rumble 2022 event. The former Women’s champion also teased her return several times on Twitter and also trolled a few fans over it during the process.
2. Asuka
Another favorite to win this year’s Royal Rumble event is none other than the inaugural winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Asuka hasn’t appeared in WWE since the Money in the Bank 2021 event. It was speculated that she had an injury as she was seen with a sling and later announced that she also had tooth surgery.
However, recent reports are that the Former RAW & SmackDown Women’s champion is ready to return to WWE. And, the upcoming Rumble event will be a perfect opportunity for her to make her return and win the entire thing to become the first-ever two-time Women’s Royal Rumble winner.
3. Lita
Lita is one of the legends who will be entering this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble. She is undoubtedly one of the greatest performers of all time. While some might have wanted her to enter as a surprise, her appearance was announced by WWE beforehand.
Lita has recently become one of the favorites to win the women’s Rumble due to her storyline with Charlotte Flair recently. Lita appeared on the January 14 episode of SmackDown where she has a promo war with the current SmackDown Women’s Champion. WWE might book Lita to win the right to challenge for the World title at WrestleMania. If this happens, she will be the first woman existing Hall of Famer to win the Royal Rumble.
4. Bianca Belair
Another favorite to win this year’s Royal Rumble is PWIs No. 1 female wrestler of 2021, Bianca Belair. She won last year’s Rumble as well and defeated Sasha Banks to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion in the main event of night 1 of WrestleMania.
The history might be repeated again, and this time she will look forward to taking her revenge against Becky Lynch who squashed her at SummerSlam to become the new champion. Just like Asuka, Bianca Belair also has the chance to become the first-ever two-time Women’s Royal Rumble winner.
5. Sasha Banks
Earlier this year in January, Sasha Banks got injured at a WWE live event. After her injury, WWE announced that the Boss could be out of action for the next 4-6 weeks. However, it is speculated that this injury is a misdirection to make her a surprise entrant.
Also, Sasha Banks has never won the Royal Rumble match. So this year, she might finally change this fact by winning her very first Women’s Royal Rumble match.
